Snaptain A10 mini foldable quadcopter Drone – Review & Flight testing

Snaptain A10 is a mini foldable quadcopter drone that is suitable for first time drone users. It’s in the cheaper price range, yet it has all the common featuers, such as 1 button take-off and landing, auto return and also app controls. A10 has built-in 720p camera (no audio) that can be used to transmit image to your smart phone or tablet. Controller has buttons for photo and video.

It can also do some tricks, such as circle, spin and 360 flip. However range is not the best, it’s about 20-30 meters. Flight time is about 5 – 8 minutes, depending if you’re using the camera or not. Camera doesn’t have built-in sd card slot, so it only feeds the image back to your phone / tablet and you can record the footage via your smart device, but obviously sending / receiving video requires a lot of Wi-Fi power and that drains the battery, just like on your phone, when you’re using wifi, then battery runs out a lot faster.

A10 comes with propeller guards, which means if you’re new to the drone and crash it couple of times, it won’t break easily. Good thing is that it also comes with 2x batteries, which are very easy to switch out. Batteries can be charged with included USB charger that takes about 30 minutes to charge 1 battery. Best part about this drone, is that you can fold the wings and blades and put it in your pocket! This is not possible with a normal drone, as you’d just end up breaking the wings or blades, but that’s not an issue on this drone.

Enough said, if you’d like to see this drone in action, check out the review video below:

LUDOS Memory Foam Earbuds for any kind of in-ear earphones – REVIEW

Here I’m checking out the Ludos memory foam earbuds that will fit any kind of earbuds. These can be used as replacement earbuds for lost or worn out earbuds on your current earphones or as a swap, because these are more comfortable than usual rubber earbuds. These will also slightly improve the bass quality. It really depends how good the original ones are, on some earphones these earbuds can have huge bass boost.

Bass on earbud earphones is based on how well the earbuds will seal off the ear and also how well they isolate sound, these earbuds are perfect for sealing off your ear and also good sound isolation, so bass should improve on most earphones.

They come in a pack of 12 (6 sets) in different colors.

Gosund Wireless USA Socket Testing, Review and How to Setup

Gosund makes smart sockets for different regions, EU, UK and this time we have USA socket here. Unfortunetely USA socket does not have the built-in electric meter, but everything else is as good as on other ones. It’s very small and can be controlled via “smart life” (go smart) mobile app, but also has physical button on the socket in case you want to turn it off physically, otherwise once it’s setup with your app, you can control it from anywhere in the world (as long as socket is still connected to your home Wi-Fi). It’s rated for 1200w and should automatically turn off in case of overload, while UK one is rated for 2300w and EU one is 3500w!

It also supports Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT, so you can setup voice commands and such. For more details and step-by-step guide on how to set it up, check out the video review below:

Gosund – UK Smart Wi-Fi Plug / Socket Unboxing, REVIEW & SETUP

These smart plugs / sockets are really awesome, this specific version comes with built-in electrical meter that measures voltage and amperage (shows wattage based on volts and amps), so it truly is “smart socket”. As per usual, it can be controlled via mobile app called “Smart Life”. You can set timers and schedules and group with other devices. Smart Life app also supports alexa, google assistant and IFTTT. Smart Life app itself has built-in voice commands, but it’s quite basic and you have to “hold to speak”, but works great and recognizes text just fine.

This is UK specific plug, rated for 2300 watts max and has overload protection, it turn the plug off automatically and sends you alert in case there is overload.

TECKIN Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch Unboxing, Review, Setup and How to Install

Wireless light switches are awesome, so no wonder more and more companies are making them now. Usually they have 2 switches in 1, so you can connect 2 lights (or other devices) to the switch and control them via “smart life” app once they’re connected up.

Switch itself is super easy to connect if you have common sense and basic knowledge of how electricity works, but if you’re unsure how to install it, then you can find more details on the video review below.

You can also turn the switch on / off manually as it has to “buttons” on it, however if you want to connect it up via app, you must have the switch within wireless coverage, so make sure your router’s wireless is strong enough to reach the switch (you can test this with your phone or other mobile device to make sure signal is strong near where you want to install the switch). Once switch has been setup via app, you can then control it from anywhere in the world via app. Smart Life app also allows you to set timers or schedule and it says it supports Alexa, Google Home Assistant and IFTTT too.

Even tho this is EU switch, it will work perfectly fine in UK too as you only need to connect mains power cables to it, while i’m not so sure about USA, because USA uses 120v and not 220v. And in case you’re in doubt, this switch is not just for lights, as it’s a mains power switch, it can switch anything that works on 220 volts. If you keep forgetting your cooker on all the time, you can set it on a timer that it turns itself off after like 1h in case you forget cooker on. I’m not sure about wattage tho, it doesn’t say how much it supports, but I think it’s about 5000w or so, it’s hard to find a device that takes over 2000w anyways, maybe some heaters, but they usually have their own timers and switches and they also have a plug, so for heater you should be looking for smart socket and not a wall switch.

Check out the video review for all the details and step-by-step setup and how to install tutorials.
