Here’s another excellent smart socket. This one is for EU. Naturally it has a physical button on the device to turn the connected device on / off, but it can also be controlled via Smart Life app. Smart Life app itself is poorly made, but it does the job. Once you have properly connected your plug to your app and you have internet connection, then you can control that socket from anywhere in the world. You can also set timers and schedules if you like to automate things. It also supports Alexa and other known AI programs.
It’s very easy to setup and use. For more info and details, check out my awesome video review below:
Here I’m checking out the Ludos memory foam earbuds that will fit any kind of earbuds. These can be used as replacement earbuds for lost or worn out earbuds on your current earphones or as a swap, because these are more comfortable than usual rubber earbuds. These will also slightly improve the bass quality. It really depends how good the original ones are, on some earphones these earbuds can have huge bass boost.
Bass on earbud earphones is based on how well the earbuds will seal off the ear and also how well they isolate sound, these earbuds are perfect for sealing off your ear and also good sound isolation, so bass should improve on most earphones.
They come in a pack of 12 (6 sets) in different colors.
Recently I got my hands on a small VPN Router that supports WireGuard and OpenVPN protocols. It’s a tiny router that is powered via USB and it has other great features too, such as 3g/4g dongle tethering ability (so that you can share your 3g or 4g internet)
Best feature about this tiny router is that it supports VPN services, such as WireGuard which is provided by TorGuard online privacy protection services. Once setup, any device connected to this router will then automatically be behind the VPN, that includes all wireless devices. So you can connect your console, mobile device ..etc to it and have it protected by VPN!
It has 1x WAN port and 2x LAN ports, 1x USB for 3g/4g dongle tethering and even a SD card (not sure what it’s for). Another excellent feature is that once VPN has been setup, you can assign VPN on / off to the switch on side of the router, so with flick of a switch, you can turn VPN on / off. It really comes in handy. However wireless range on this router is quite poor 🙁 It’s advertised as “travel router” so I guess range is not that important. I was 5-6 meters outside my room, in my car and my tablet already had connection issues.
Let’s take a look at Orico’s transparent 4 port USB 3.0 HUB! It looks cool and once powered on, it has a bright blue LED under it, give it a cool underglow effect. It can look really cool on your table, however personally I find bright LEDs distracting when gaming or watching TV, so I wouldn’t have it around the area where it gets in my eyes, otherwise it’s cool!
