I have tried using the new Grip/ Friction trainer and it does affect the brakes on some cars and bikes. What I want to do is make the brakes better and adjust them like you could with speed.

i repeat, i have not found any type of brakes. Braking is most likely combination of all other stats, like weight, grip, tyre type ..etc
If i find brakes, i will make trainer for sure.

there are some things that might affect brakes, but don't know

_brake_balance
_brakes_characteristics_front_hc
_brakes_characteristics_rear_hc
_brakes_dim_front
_brakes_dim_rear
_brakes_power_front
_brakes_power_rear
_braking_100_0
_brakingdist
_brakingtuninglevel

maybe brake power and braking 100 to 0 might do something or braking tuning level.
whoever have used tuning above level 4, should know that even 255 did not make vehicle brake any better. I think there is no such thing as brakes directly, that make car stop faster. You can use handbrake if you increase grip a lot.

counterbalance it with downforce maybe. high grip on rear wheels and low rear downforce, might balance it out so vehicle acts normally, but handbrake is almost instant stop.

Hi Sethioz, sorry to bother you with another question.. I found how to tune the bike etc so that's no problem anymore.

But another thing isn't working, I'm trying the "Cars - all cars available" section of your wiki now, to unlock the other DLC2 vehicles (I bought the RR with leftover tokens so that's the only one I have)

I follow your guide (and another guide somewhere else which says the same as yours) exactly, but it's not working.
What I'm doing is :
Using old version TestDrive2_EXE_v097_build6_original & Universal Launcher 1.5
I start up the game (v079) and go to garage and select the "Audi S5 Coupe " and I search for 350
I then go back to the garage and select the "Audi RS6 Avant " and I go outside and I search for 393
To be 100% sure I go back into garage and take the "Audi S5 Coupe " again and I can see that everything is correct because the values change to 350 again.
I also know which address of the 8 to 10 addresses in the results is the right one to change, so when I'm still outside of the house, I change it to 1515 (Ducati Diavel Carbon (mA1)) but then the problem starts, the value always changes immediately back to 350, always.
If I then go back inside the house, and I change the value again to 1515, it stays 1515. So it seems it then worked, but if I then quit the game, and start up the official DLC2 exe of the game, I go outside of the house, the car is still the "Audi S5 Coupe " ... 350...

I'm 100% sure I have the right address range etc...

I can't get it to work anymore...

Any ideas in what I'm doing wrong there?

you have wrong address, that simple.
replace it with another car (not bike), then go to garage and see if other car spawned. if yes, do it again and this time replace with bike. then save the game and go back to new .exe.

Here is how I got the ducati RR. You have to use: TSEARCH, TestDrive2_EXE_v097_build6_original and have TDU2_Universal_Launcher. The first thing you want to do is start up the game and run TSEARCH. Press start enter the game, go into the house " Do not enter garage " while in your house search for the car you drive exit back out to free roam enter your home again, then go into garage select another car exit out of your house and go into free roam. Then go back inside of your house not in the garage, in the living room search for the car you currently drive and then in TSEARCH select only the 1st address then choose the option that is above the address that looks like a note. Change all of the addresses on the right to the bike address you want. If you have a level 4 tuned car during the time you change the address your bike will be level 4. Exit game replace the .exe with the current .exe, run tdu 2 go into the game and you should have the bike you want.

I already have all 3 bikes and you don't have to use tsearch, why do people think that it matters which memory tool you use ? using different tool does not magically make game memory change. duh.

You exit, enter, change bla bla is useless and senseless.
all i did, is went to 097 .exe, bought 3 VW Golfs, went into the house where they went, searched 372, filtered few times real quick, added correct address range into list, change half of them to 311 (hummer), entered garage and checked. if nothing, i changed them back and deleted, then i changed other half to 311 and hummer it was, then i split it in half again and then again. took me less than 10 min total. then i found all 3 of them, changed to bikes and exited garage > game saved.

Garage slots are seperated with 160 (HEX). if you find one garage slot, add 160 to address and it's next garage slot. easy as that.
Atari / Eden Games is such failure, they had planned making bikes paintable / stickable, but didn't. what idiotic thinking. look, even the icons are there ! I don't get it, why not let people paint their bikes ? Anyway it's possible with my trainer.

my problem now is when i do pointerscan and make a trainer with these base adresses at other pcs id don't works. I know every car has now one tuning adress but why it don't works if i made a trainer with pointerscans. I mean at my pc the hack work but not at others.

Wheel's Width can be affected but not the wheels it self just move them more inside car / Outside Car as far i remember ( can be wrong )

I have the Engine Stats Editor and would like to know what i would need to increase the speed of my car. I have messed with the Torque limit which helped a little but is there anything else I need that can change the top speed of my car significantly? I'm hoping it's not the Gearbox Editor as that looks a bit complicated. I bought the Lvl50 tuner a while ago and I would like to be able to have the same effects again on my car. Cheers.

Acceleration / Top Speed Will have major effect on your Car speed.
Tuning in overall increased acceleration / Top speed / Final Drive Ratio*
So in overall.. Engine+Weight+Gearbox+Drive Train for max gain.

Sadly without being able to adjust brakes, some cars are pointless to make faster. I hope that soon maybe a trainer will be made to adjust the brakes.

I repeat, there are no actual brakes.
You people need to learn how real cars work, because tdu2 uses very similiar stats like real cars do.
dampers, rideheight, downforce, torque, rpm limits, gear ratios...etc. There is no such thing on real car as braking power.
you have to change tyres to some super grip tyres, then you have to change brake discs for racing ones..etc. Same in tdu2. you have to adjust more than 1 thing. classic cars have different tyre type and less grip and weight also adjusts braking. all that together would help.
people are having problems using my stat editors already, i don't expect them to be able to adjust all that even if i make a trainer. noobed kids would just put it MAAAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and think it would work, but it doesn't.

first i want to release wheels and handling trainer, where you can adjust rideheight, suspension height..etc

Sethioz I understand there is no way to mod the brakes. The problem is without something being made to have better brakes, it is pointless on some cars to make them faster. The bike has good brakes and with a bit of help from the grip friction trainer it does make the bike have better brakes. There is one bad side effect if it rains there is noway to use the bike. It only makes the bike crash each time I try to drive.

that's why i added wet traction too. usually it is 60 - 80%. change it to 100% and you have same grip on wet as you have on dry surfaces.

This one is a prototype and final version might change in look, but this is how i will release the final verisons of TDU2 trainers.

This is a full stats editor. I don't know if there is enought room to make a mega trainer with each stat field, but will see about it.
I have to consider that some people use smaller resolution than 1920x1080 and that trainer might not fit on screen with 100 or more buttons.
No more hotkey tapping, enter the value and hit the button.

UPDATE:
Here's a picture of first public release of advanced stat editor trainer.
It's still not complete, but good enought for public release. so it went on my hacks shop.
Namely i forgot to write close button and process won't terminate if you close it using X or Alt+F4
It must be terminated from task manager / process explorer.
another small thing is that it won't show my symbol on left upper corner, instead it shows default program icon.
window size is also adjustable, which should be fixed.
there are bugs, but only purpose of this trainer is to give you ability to adjust stats and it does just that.
In future trainers most likely i will fix these small things.

im not really into modding. if you want to change then permanently you have to mod the game files, which i don't do.
with cheat engine you have to write a script (form) to keep them changed, but it only changes for you tho.

nice, however im still using the old launcher, one of the first (one that does not support steam).
It seems like it only detects it, when you go online (load profile). so i simply closed it after i launched the game.
Atari sure sucks in making patches and anti-hacks lol

Knyazev, do you think you can make a TDU2 server emulator ?
then just force testdrive2.exe to use that server and not connect into default servers.
if you can do that, im sure i can remove all kind of anti-hack checks with simple packet editing and then make permanent filters using proxocket.

Just an update on packet editing. WPE Pro always acts stupid and doesn't replace what i want, because of that im having some issues.
seems like that only check for version is just a string "v031". i tried replacing v028 with v031, but WPE Pro doesn't replace it as it is. packet changed a bit and that is not good.

Probably you don't notice the difference, but it is seen in packet. I'm not even sure if it has anything to do with check failing, but after "TDU2 DLC2" it puts a new line, it is not same as original packet.
I also tried on banned profile and changed profile name, but didn't work either, still banned. its probably in savegame ?!

I did a quick test with DLC car, im not sure if its because of banned profile or its their check failing. it seems like that i only get the message "DLC vehicle hack detected" if game is saved using that car, outside house.
i was inside house for a while and then drove non DLC car and then i changed to DLC car and did not get the message.

TDU2 crash exploit have been confirmed. I found this ages ago, but i did not understand why people were crashing, but thanks to 7Ds now i know what was causing it.
Now we can crash anybody's game client on demand. I doubt this gets released into the public. This kind of exploit is so called "game killer"

I just discovered something very fucked up. ... i say FUBAR !
seriously this is fucked up shit. I manage to hijack IDs, cars, models..i dunno WTF to even call this hack. i had ppl STUCK in my car lmfao, i was driving their car ROFL .. or i teleported into their car and was spectating them drive, also i managed to teleport into any available player.
and THEN !! my avatar came out of car LOL, it was standing in middle of road and car was empty, no driver.
this is so fucked up, that i dont think anyone belives me, so i made a video (i will render it LATER), for now only screenshots.

Now im too tired to look further in this, but this is funny stuff.

Me and 7Ds were testing this messed up hack and it really is messed up. We confirmed that you can steal somebody's name completely and talk under their name (not same as name change). It can be done instantly + you can teleport into them or teleport them into you.
I was talking from under like 5 names within 10 seconds lol. made huge confusion, no1 knew wtf was going on.

I also found another method to crash the game + corrupt somebody's savegame. It is confirmed that game will crash and you don't even have to be close to the person, it crashes no matter where you are or what you do. However there is a catch, person have to be in your friend's list for that.
I had idea that i could impersonate somebody and send invite using his account, then friend will accept and do the crash trick. in theory, it is possible to crash anyone within the game (who is online) + corrupt their savegame.
This needs more testing. I won't release it just yet.

Atari / Eden Games if you are reading, stay the fuck away from me or i will release all crash exploits in public, for free. it will kill your game, no money for you anymore.
We keep this private, because in past me and my team have killed many games by releasing such crash exploits. Every kid will start using it and results are chaotic. no one wants to play anymore. even if you patch it, damage is done.

1. you can use cheatengine just fine, it does not get detected. i don't know where you got that idea from ?! ive been using CE all the time, no detection.

2. DLC vehicles still work, but you cannot save game outside garage with dlc vehicle or upon loading it gets detected and you must wait 1-5 minutes after loading the profile before selecting DLC car for driving. im not 100% sure it works, but im quite sure. just try. get DLC car in offline mode, save game with another car and inside house (just to make sure), then quit game, load back in online mode, play around for 5 minutes without touching DLC cars, then select one and try driving it.
Also note that this online check does NOT detect anything in garage, it only detects if you drive it and that seem to be just a quick check right after you load profile. if it gets detected, then all dlc cars will be miami's.
its a messed up check.

TDU2 had an update in past 10 hours, they have blocked usage of some memory editors, such as Cheat Engine. as soon as you launch the program, you will be thrown out of online with message "cheater detected".
Everything else seem to be same.

I have already bypassed that lame detection and released Ultimate Stats Editor for v034b16 and it's available here:

Im very sure that they will never patch my bypass method :) They might patch what im using right now, but i still have my custom method that will work on anything, its even VAC proof and could be used on CSS and games like that.

this was mentioned somewhere already.

when you start game, just make sure you are not out in freeride with DLC vehicle.
select normal vehicle (non dlc) for drive, drive around 2-3 minutes.
then change to DLC car, it shouldn't detect it as "cheat"
as far as i know, it only checks during first few minutes after loading into game.
see if this trick works.

it worked for me on one banned profile. online was locked, but it still said cheater detected if i had DLC vehicle.
so i went offline mode, changed to normal car, came back in online mode with normal car, waited few minutes
then chose DLC car and i didn't get that message anymore.

ive already tried this, when i start the game i have the Ferrari Enzo (not tuned). but after about 5 seconds it gives me the dlc vehicle hack detected. any other tips? thanks

that's very odd. i don't want to risk getting cd-key banned, otherwise i would try.
i guess they do not ban cd-key, because otherwise you would be banned already.
i have never had this message showing up, unless i actually select DLC vehicle for driving.

do you get this message even when inside of house (not garage) ?

Hello again! i have now bypassed The "dlc hack detected" without using any tool or any old .exe PM me sethioz if you want to know how i did. but anyways. ive looked in the TDU 2 database wiki and searched around the forum. but couldn't find how to make bikes paintable? i knew how do do this before but i have forgot. could you tell me how it's done? Or tell me where to look if you already said how to do it in this thread. thanks

Edit: i know how to make bikes paintable. switch to 0.97 exe paint a car and then switch to bike and the bike will be that color. but i mean how to get the bikes in the paint shop like you did on this picture: http://sethioz.com/forum/download/file. ... ad353870b6

Alright, i successfully got a bike into the paint shop. but the paint and stick are "locked", now i just have to figure out how to unlock them.

i never really looked into DLC vehicles, because there aint so many who want those.
its kind a good that you kept it out the public.

i edited bike stats and made it paintable and stickable by default.

you mean islands? there are only 2 island, so not sure what you mean by maps.
reaching level 10 is easy as 123, so i never really bothered to make a hack to "unlock" the hawaii.

just a note to those who want to try.
my idea is this:
make backup of your savegame
do unknown search
not changed few times
open 1 specific road and do changed search
do few more not changed
restore your savegame and do changed

i will try this myself if i have time and can bother to get back into tdu2.

Well, i don't have any experience on unknown search but i think its possible in all versions, im sure its client side.

This is why i have Knowledge Database that has detailed articles on how to use memory tools (do unknown ..etc).

I don't get it, why it has to be activated in main menu tho.
There's probably a way to debug the function that opens roads and make it unlock all at once, but this is not the type of hacking i do.
It was probably done using Olly or cheat engine's debugger, olly actually gets detected by tdu2 and it crashes, but cheat engine's debugger works in certain mode.
I just never really need to debug games, since i can get what i want by searching.

No promises, but i am interested in this myself. just out of curiousity i want to see how it was done.

i heard rumors that there is patch coming, that would be good excuse to get back into tdu2 hacking, but i highly doubt, i think that rumor is incorrect.

I've finally made the map hack Open / Close roads.
im thinking about making ultimate map editor, however its still as a concept only. I found the road and i was able to manipulate it the way i wanted, close and open different parts of it ..etc
