So I use the DLC cars with the old Exe
if I take all the newest exe to be dne Mustangs.
So I have to live without the drive or the drive but a wrong level to have?

Update:

i have just found grip and right after that pc crashed .. so no idea where it was. however i got few clips recorded of me doing wheelies lol.
however setting grip on high level, makes it unable to trun at all. still cool effect.

i'll see what else i can dig out.

Update:
after 5 hours of researching, i tuned my Q7 inuit so now its better than super sport in every way.
lowered the suspension
added acceleration
added top speed
added higher rpm, meaning faster top speeds in shorter times
reduced weight about 2.5 times allowing better handling and cornering
better front and rear downforce, giving superiour handling, even on speeds above 500km/h
increased grip, allowing instant take off
and some other small tweaks.

that beast pops to 900km/h in no time and its still controllable. i tested it in airport run, the most played MP event. i didnt race tho, but i went into that corner 600km/h and didnt crash. even veyron can't go there faster than 410km/h.

during testing, i also adjusted suspension and grip, so i was doing backflips lol (i have videos)

anyway, most likely i will release a x-mas special trainer with some kickass hacks, so stay tuned. for now .. i will produce the video and it goes onto youtube, so check my channel in near future.

one thing i haven't found tho, is 4wd, rwd and fwd. most likely its some stupid value that makes no sense.
oh yea, and its possible to copy car handling to another car easily. in fact you can even save car stats and then load them on top of other, using cheat engine.
however it ends with a crash, because there are values that shouldn't be replaced, like car id.

well i found 3 things i was after ... and ofcourse i didn't make a note of what i changed and then game crashed.
these 3 things being:
- group (change viper from A2 to A1)
- 4wd (changed viper from RWD to 4WD)
- offroad capability (changed viper so it was offroad capable)

UPDATE:
2 down, 1 to go.
i found drivedrain and MagicalSilence found car group / class. however offroad capability is something i couldn't replicate. ..for now.

as a note, i mention again that the db_data file (decrypted from tdu2 files) can be used to easily find car stats and find what you looking for. its not easy, far from it. we spent about 7 hours on it today and only found 2 out of 3.

i also found some extremely weird thing, its like brakes, but it isnt. what it does, is that when i brake, it pushes my car forward.
i set that value on very high and as result my car had super turbo when i braked lol. it goes with car brake value, but sure doesn't act like it.
viper had 65 or something, i set it on 100 and couldn't stop at all, while 0 had almost no brakes, just like on N gear, nothing happens when braking.

car group can be used to enter any online/offline event with any car. so it works fine, however it doesn't seem like others see it.

some kickass trainers are on the way :) my KARR is 4wd now and its stable even at 900km/h and over bumps.
also we messed around with some random values and i found that there are things that specify strings (text) displayed in car DATA.
for example i had brakes named "cannot join session" lol. while MagicalSilence changed something and he got his car onto some kind of "test" mode.

i was digging around and found something kinda nice on the gears but the 8th gear i think its equal to like 4th gotta look bit more into it

i have found number of gears too, but adding another gear won't do much, since it doesn't have "gear ratio" on it.
i didn't think you can go above 7-8, since there is no room for these gears, but maybe you found different place.
gear ratios are what im after. in case someone doesn't know what "gear ratio" is, it's what specifies how fast you can go on specific gear.
if there's no value, then it acts like Neutral gear.

2 more things im after, or well one, since i managed to do it once yesterday.
- offroad capability
- transmission type - this means that mechanical is SLOW as shit to shift gears, while "shifter" is a lot faster and "automatic" should be same speed, just animation changes.

i think its best to poke the db_data file and see where it might be, however i have no idea about the value tho. might be same as in tdu1, which i can't remember either.


UPDATE:
as i was messing around i discovered that car hack is still possible even outside used cars dealership. namely in your garage.
i changed my car ID directly in car stats and it turned into another car, complete with stats.

MagicalSilence also found that its possible to change car sell/buy price. buy for 1 and sell for 1 million.
there are other interesting lines, like "gas in tank" and "gas consumtion" or "tyre thickness" and "tyre radius" however i didnt see them having any effect.

* just found stickable yes / no, which makes no sense. for those who know how to change these things, it is not 1 and 0. its complicated, its a string of "flags" that says which stickers are availble for vehicle, works for all cars. including traffic and club.

* found RIMS / wheels. meaning i can fit any car wheels on any car :)



UPDATE:
all car stats are now "unlocked". i also sorted them out in cheat engine and now its easy as editing a car stats file directly.
took me a while, but i managed to find out where car stats start and where they end, so now i can list a complete car stats just like it would be in a file and edit it. takes a while to go thru them all, but result will be that i can change anything.
here's a small peek into my Cheat Engine table on how i sort things, when i click on "tick box" it expands the stats.

UPDATE:
here we go, more coming.
found paintability. i can change any car to paintable and stickable or unpaintable and unstickable (no need for that tho).
tuneabiliity seems possible too on ferrari, but there's no ferrari tuner, need to find the stat flag that says in what tuner you can tune it.

im sure that there is no way that anyone else figures this one out, all i can say, it's part of a "handling flag". do it wrong = crash. even if you copy it off of other vehicle you may end up crashing.

maybe i forgot something, i crashed my game few times and don't know if i missed something.
price of car is very weird, it's in 4 bytes, but it isn't what it says. for example i changed price to 8 million (8000000), but in used car dealer it showed up over 30 million. something like 30392436. tried to change it to float, 2 bytes, 8 bytes..etc. nothing. maybe it has something to do with tune level ?! .. exept that my car was level 0.

im looking to enable fuel usage.

what are the changes in new launcher ? will update wiki.

as about suspension, i can make you a trainer with hotkey that adds / substracts from suspension, so you can adjust it the way you want.
that good enought ? just tell me which car it is for.

i don't have stats for A10, it would take me some time. wheel size is something that doesn't want to change on every car, same with wheels. suspension will work fine. i'll pm you the trainer for suspension on A10.
maybe i do it today, maybe tomorrow. not sure when i get some time.

new post, too many pictures on this page, loads too slow.

i have more news. i found some interesting stuff:

is DLC vehicle yes/no ..not sure what it does. guess it means if its dlc vehicle or not lol. might appear in used cars
on road grip
drift grip
weight of wheels (not sure what it can be used)
suspension stiffness
wings start speed
wings end speed
wings manual open time
wet grip
type of windows (havent tested, but you can disable them on any vehicle or enable, which wont give you animations)
win points (no idea wtf it does, gives you some points when you win i guess) maybe online ?!

i set weight of wheels to 9000, it was slow as hell and didnt push traffic away, so quite useless. can be set to 1 to reduce weight.

wings are very interesting, i can manually open wings now and specify the time how long it takes to open it. video is under way.
i keep you fellas up to date as i go along the stats.

i can also confirm that tyre width and radius (size) works, but i havent mapped it yet. i put beetle wheels on super sport and they were bigger. so meaning it works, bit more testing and i have them too.

see wiki article for full list of stats. i also updated first post of this topic with full list, however i wont be updating forum post again, everything goes on wiki from now on. just discussion about stuff here.
yeah, lot of fun with road grip, its way harder than any of you thinks :) about 40 addresses for different grip, like when you slide or drive forward..etc and its not even same for road and offroad. some are simple values, while some are in %
7th day goes under tdu2 ... duh but im almost done i think, 74 stats in total i have mapped. thats quite a lot. don't think there's anything useful left.

still need to figure out tyre size .. i know its changeable.

i m beginner in this activity.

I searching to activate level in casino.
I use tsearch and tdu v097
I ve found all adress for each challenges ( in reality only first adress change if you find it all the others are relative to the first)
I can upgrade my global level to 10 but when i leave casino i lose all changes.
with or without blocking values it doesnt change anything . levels changes stay active until restart game.

Do you have any idea for this

most likely its patched, i have never tried this.
try using old testdrive2.exe and see if you can do it there, let us know if it worked or not, im interested in that too, just havent had time to test that.
version 097 should do.

How did you manage to edit database?! I'd do it to play with my modded Lp640 on its own slot, but it hasn't data. Is editing the same as TDU1? 'cause I decrypted the database etc... and I saw that a lot of data were readable, and the rest wasn't, so could you provide informations about this? Thanks! :D

I am having trouble with TDU 2 db_data.cpr. When I decrypt the file to make changes to add the PNJ clothes/ hidden clothes and encrypt the file I then run the game and it does load ok. Then when I am in game my av will be invisible only the head and some of the other body is ok. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, it does say in the guide I need an Hex editor. If anyone could please help me with my problem so I could get the Hidden & Pnj clothes in my game.

Must have been small error when changing, making game unable to read the correct name to load it. make sure you don't replace anything extra than what you must.

I have tried making sure the names are correct. Could someone make a trainer for this? I did look in the TDU 2 trainer shop and there is nothing there that would help me with this problem.

you can't play online with modified game files .. i tought it is obvious to everyone by now.
even if it doesn't check any data when playing online, then db_data.cpr file is not just encrypted, its also compressed or something.
i am not interested in tdu2 modding, so i won't check into file modding.

My main problem is that i can't find the base adresses. If i do pointer scan there will be over 50 000 adresses.

sounds like you don't know how to use pointer scan, this is not right place to discuss that. you need to go back to basics and learn how to use pointer scans.
This topic is about TDU2 speicifc hacks, not how to use hack tools. no more of this in this topic. if you don't know how to use tools, you are in wrong topic.

DLC2 is out and i can confirm that car stat hacking still works. I will start releasing new trainers soon. First i have to confirm that there wont be more updates. Rest of the hacks are unknown if they work or not. I changed car speed successfully, works perfectly.

car stats have been mixed up a little, but my method still works. It is a lot harder to find things and will take longer to probably make trainers, but eveyrthing still seem to be possible.

Sethioz would you make a trainer for the Ducati Desmosedici RR? Also the level 50 tuner trainer needs to be updated to work with DLC 2.

I first need to get them working. I crashed my game few times.
I have IDs for the DLC2 vehicles:

a lot have changed and it is pain in the ass to make trainers, however possible. I'm guessing this is why it took them months, but if that was some poor attempt to stop my trainers, they failed. They worked like 6 months or more on it just to get rid of some hacks and i figured it out in few hours.
It seems like tuning is not global anymore and is vehicle based. so tuning trainer is not possible anymore, it has to be done per vehicle, but im not 100% sure yet.
They have also removed a lot of stat lines. For example "downforce velocity" is gone. I have to map everything all over again or well most of the stuff.
I have successfully tuned my Charger to like 200 level and i have decreased my SS weight to 800kg which makes it very fast and super handling. Also i tested acceleration. everything works. however im stuck with DLC 2 vehicles atm. I tried using old exe but game crashes so i must do it on DLC 2 version i think. I do have another idea too, have to test it.

so anyway, good news everyone, there WILL be trainers for DLC 2, but im not sure when.
Most important things i want to get done are most commonly used trainers, money, tuning and DLC 2 vehicles. then comes rest.


UPDATE:
Eden Games sure sucks in patching things, they tried to make things harder, instead they made it a lot easier. Now it is possible to make universal trainer that affects any vehicle :)
Im thinking about releasing about 50 trainers, not for vehicles, but they will adjust specific stat line. As soon as i turn view onto vehicle, i see stats, i turn it off, and stats are unloaded from memory.
I will test and if it works, then i start releasing. so if you are interested in increasing acceleration, then all you have to do is just get one trainer.

As about DLC2 vehicles .. no idea yet.

Stats are indeed messed up and there are missing parts. Lot have been taken out however idea is still the same. There used to be line "DLC downloadable" which was 1 for DLC vehicles and 0 for non DLC vehicles, however i can't seem to find it anymore. I'm sure it's there and now i know why it was there. It obviously specifies if vehicle can be bought or have to be bought as DLC vehicle with atari tokens. Most likely it was just shifted and is still there...somewhere. Just need to find it. Before this line wasn't important, because DLC vehicles were only accessable after you buy them and appeared normally in used cars.

I also found bike stats.

Thank you man for codes.
Ihave already done with bike 1515.
Run older exe with offline mode get Lancia 355 and Mercedes 398. Go to the button garage on 2nd island.
Take Merceded 398 check for it in memory.
Swap to Lancia check all found data from 398 to 355.
Now you will get 7-8 regions.
Go out from building change all 355 to 1515 now go back to building. Game saved.
Run DLC2 exe and you are on bike )

Hi .... i use program Tsearch and update v 086 from SKIDROW... so i have game on version v086 .. and here is my instruction which not work ! pls Help me :d

1) i switch on update for game -> game have version 086
2) i switch game in offline mode
3) i switch on Tsearch
4) I use instruction : take Merceded 398 check for it in memory.
Swap to Lancia check all found data from 398 to 355.
5)i change car 355 on Bike 1515 and I go to garage but game freeze :( and dont save :-( -> i Havent bike ... Pls help me

Dont go to garage or on street!!! game will crash
As I wrote above..
when you are on street with Lancia 355, change values to 1515 and go into BUILDINg, not garage, when game saves just close and run DLC2 exe.

I was able to tune my ducati RR to level 4. I hope soon there is a trainer to make the bikes faster than level 4.

I doubt that we will release Tuning Trainer ( you can still Tune it using the method in Knowledge Database )
Instead We will release Trainers for Stats.

Everyone just wait few days. It takes some time to test properly. We are not cheathappens here who push the first "working" trainer out. I want to make sure it works properly without issues.

indeed i don't think i do tuning trainers because it seems that there is no way to make universal tuning trainer anymore, it seem to be vehicle specific, meaning that each vehicle would have to have tuning trainer, however good news is that tuning changes acceleration, final gear ratio and weight, which are nothing more than vehicle stats and i will make universel trainer to change those instead. meaning it will be better than tuning trainer.

UPDATE:
It seems like they patched the vehicle hack in car dealers / used cars dealers too. I tried replacing car in car dealer and it disappears if it isn't correct value.
Haven't tried in used cars yet.
I can easily get DLC2 cars using old .exe. I just spawn them into used cars, but old .exe won't accept bikes and crashes. so only way is to change them straight in garage as mentioned here already. but i need simpler way than replacing car in my garage.

you dont need eploration exe with miami's mustangs's :)
You need older exe and new dlc2, all exploration cars stay as they are!
There is no chance to drive bike on older exe, but there is a chance to make savegame with bikes.

Hi.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a push in the right direction concerning DLC2 tuning.
I'm trying to tune the Ducati RR (1513) and I'm using cheat engine and I've found the right address where the tuning (accel/speed/brake) is kept. For the Ducati RR it's thus 00 00 00, when I change it to 04 04 04 with cheat engine I go back to the game, go back to the garage, quit the game, come back and the Ducati RR is still level 0 tuning, and doesn't drive any faster.

Any tips on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated, it must be a small detail I'm missing as I know I'm on the right path :P

It does work online this tuning right? And yes I've read the wiki article 100 times, when using method 2 or 3 it doesn't explicitly say what to do after changing values, so I presume you have to go look back at the car hacks and that says to go to the garage and then quit game and come back.

Any advice would be really appreciated, as I understand enough about this but like I said, must be a small detail I'm missing :D.

Do I need to use an old exe for the tuning to work and save? (last question :P)

Wrong doing this.. first of all dont start with 0 0 0 cos all zeros is about half million data, so tune up acceleration and start from 1 0 0, then tune up speed 1 1 0 and filter, then tune brakes 1 1 1 and filter again. You must get only 2 values no more in the end. Second, ne exe,s are cheat protected so may be it will not work at all.
Anyway you can upgrade your bike in tuning shop to level 4.
My question is how to keep tuning level 5 in new game and change parameters in default values?

I repeat, I already found the right address for tuning the bikes and the 0 0 0 is normal because the bikes start off with 0 0 0.

Sorry but your answer next to the upgrade bikes in tuning shop are not helpful.

Level 5 isn't possible read the wiki, it will never save, max level = 4.

With the help of the dlc 2 trainer that Sethioz made I was able to get the ducati RR up to 725 mph. There needs to be a trainer to mod the brakes and also update the TDU2_juggernaut_ghost trainer to work with DLC 2.

as about tuning. it is not 0 0 0. Tuning is in HEX and it is 00 00 00. acceleration - speed - braking.
Bike tuning should be easy, however i haven't tried.
.exe is not protected. you can still hack tuning level easily.

read the damn wiki people and stop complaining. tuning is explained there.
do tuning for any car, make sure it works. then look at the address range. for me it is 17B
then you do a ranged search from 17B00000 to 17BFFFFF for 00 00 00. you shouldn't come up with too many values.
then browse thru the memory and see which one might look like bike.
Also there is another thing i noticed in DLC2 .exe
Tuning is vehicle specific now and it seem to be located near the vehicle dirt level.
meaning find dirt level for bike and you find tuning, it is just before the dirt.

Again, do it on some car and see the offset, then find dirt level on bike and go back to that offset and change 00 00 00 to 04 04 04

I find tuning useless, because i can change stats for any vehicle, it is better than tuning.

Hi at first I have to mention that I read whole thread and I did search on knowleadge database but still I have some troubles to get DLC1 cars.

With DLC2 cars there was no problems I got all nine of them but I can't get any of DLC1 car.

I'm starting with Lancia (ID355) to find some addresses then I switching it to Ford MUSTANG (ID371) and filter those addresses thats makes I have 3 to 7 addresses.
And there is something like if I change value at 2nd address, values at 1st and 3rd addresses changes itselfs, but with DLC1 IDs when I change value at 2nd address,
value at 1st changes to ID of base model of car that I want to get and value at 3rd address changes to value of 2nd.

So e.g. If I change value at 2nd address to 661 (Bugatti Veyron Super Sport) value at 1st address changes to 353 which is Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and value at 3rd address is 661.

There is 4th address that seems to be important to properly save car before back on DLC2 exe. I am working by switching between v086 and DLC2 v025 exes.
Addresses that I find and values after change value from 355 to 661 at 2nd address are like:

Address|Value
00F39B94:353
00FC9424:661
0112A488:661
16BA7D50:355

In case DLC2 cars I had to change 2nd and 4th value to get a car, 1st and 3rd values changes itself after change value of 2nd.

How is it possible you got DLC2 vehicles and can't get DLC1 ? Car swapping works same way...
it doesn't matter what car you use, id is id.
I have implied it many times, that pay attention to your address range. I have to search only ONCE without filtering and i can pick out right address by just looking at the addresses, because i know how the right address should look like. However i do it in used cars dealer.
Still haven't done bikes yet.

I knew it was 00 00 00 etc I just couldn't find the right range etc which would hold the changes. With that info you gave I should be finding it now.

I might take another look into tuning, but i really don't see point in it anymore. i have just added Drivetrain and Gearbox trainers.
Final drive is what changes when you tune vehicles. 3 factors that change when tuning:

1. acceleration (can be done using my engine trainer and beyong level 255 tuning)
2. final drive ratio (giving top speed) this can now be done using my gearbox trainer
3. weight (can be done with weight trainer or misc trainer that gives more than just weight)

This is why i find tuning useless.
I will be releasing handling, wheels, wings and grip / friction trainers too. there are about 20 things in total. giving you control over suspension, height, stiffness, damping rate, wheel width, wheel weight, grip, grip on offroad surface, grip on wet surface ..etc.

Simple method is hex-editing of TestDrive2.exe, if you want to get motobikes.

I don't think there are brakes specifically, i think all other things effect braking, like tyres and grip.
at least i haven't found brakes. use weight trainer for now.
