Iron Man 3 - movie review / discussion

Post by Sethioz »

I was waiting for this and kept my eye on the release, i watched it few days ago and i have to say ... what an disappointment it was.
i know it was made by Marvel movies and they do make good movies, but cmon ... it's like completely different person was behind the movie writing and planning than who made 1st and 2nd movie.

It was still quite cool, but wtf happend to Tony Stark the "world dominator" ? he got pushed around like a little baby. no security on the house ..etc
and what's up with the plastic iron man suits? i mean ... they broke like they were made out of plastic, if you remind action from iron man 1 and 2, he took a direct hit from a tank, fell from sky, got kicked around and in beginning of second movie he was fighting that russian guy with those electric whips that cut thru steel like hot knife thru butter, but in this movie, he got messed up when a truck hit his suit lol.

I didn't like this one as much as i liked 1st and 2nd movie. also there wasn't much of iron man action at all, most of it was how he was playing a poor helpless guy in some half abondoned village ... in the movie he is suppose to be world's most powerful and advanced and he can't get to his suits because there was debris blocking the vault door? or because he couldn't get transport back home? LOL cmon .. that's just lame already.
i don't like those movies / tv series where in new episodes / sequels everyone lost their powers, that includes Heroes, Knight Rider ..etc. in one episode KITT was able to float on water .. and in future episodes he sunk.. or in Heroes where Sylar became very powerful, but got pushed around like a little kid ... that's just so lame.

anyway its still worth watching. at least it was 2h movie, unlike most movies nowdays that end before they start.
