War Z / WarZ - How to get SLI working / SLI Fix

Post by Sethioz »

I've seen it a lot where people ask how to get SLI working in War Z as it doesn't support it by default and ive also seen lot of jerk trolls who are like "wtf its shit game why even bother with SLI" ..so right, i found a way.

First you need nVidia Inspector
Grab it here
nvidiaInspector.rar
(193.18 KiB) Downloaded 714 times
or Google for newer version

- open nVidia Inspector
- click on settings button in middle

- click on that sun icon saying "create new profile" and name it whatever you want (i named it War Z)

- click on "add application to this profile" its that pencil icon with green + on it

browse to your war z folder and select "warz.exe"

- Now in the green bar it should saw "warz.exe,"

If not, you did not add application properly, go back and fix whatever you did wrong.
Now in the profile fields, under "SLI Compatibility bits" put the following:

Code: Select all

0x02C04205
Put this into both boxes if you have more than 1 SLI compatibility field)

Now in upper right corner click "apply changes" and you're done.
now nVidia driver will automatically use that profile when you launch war z.
you can check if its running on both GPUs using "MSI Afterburner" or similar program.
