2CV Super Off-Road Problem

Postby rkirkley » Sat Mar 03, 2012 11:38 pm

Today I installed the trainer for the 2CV. The race mode works as it should. However, the Super Off-Road mode gives me six speeds of reverse and one very low speed forward (by selecting reverse). Any ideas (other than making frequent use of the rear-view mirror).

uh, this sounds weird, worked fine for me. i will take a look in it later on.
2CV is just too unpredictable, this is 2nd time this trainer fucks up, no idea why 2CV is bitching like that.
never had similar issues with any other vehicle. i'll post update here later on.
NOTE that you dont need to have offroad mode activated in order to use offroad ability.

In racing mode the car is so low, it keeps getting hung-up off road.

maybe i'll release a new version, since this one seems unfixable, but not sure when.

I wondered if it might be a controller issue (G27 wheel) so I tried it with keyboard only. Still the same result. Neither does it matter if the transmission is auto, H-shifter or H-shifter with clutch.

i think your issue is that you are using FWD or RWD. i tested only with 4WD.
4WD is superiour to FWD and RWD.
however wheel + pedals is only good side, you have more control. i have never tested with keyboard.

i hate this car. it keeps fucking up. i'll try to take a look in it this week.

4WD is the mode I've been using. I did try FWD and RWD to see if it made a difference, but it didn't. For what it matters, making a key or button for 7th gear engages reverse instead. The off-road shows only six forward (or in my case, reverse) gears. I wonder if I've got the version I was supposed to get? The description says seven gears for both modes.

no i haven't touched TDU2. im kind a sick of it. 2CV is just being bitchy. it is only trainer that has issues tho.
I'll wait for DLC2, if it doesnt come this month i will definetly write new 2CV trainer.
DLC2 was suppouse to come in february .. but as expected eden games takes their time eating donuts.

LOCKED - none of the old trainers work with latest patch. useless topic
