Either i am incompetent, or the search engine of this site is fucked up. I wanted to find ur topic where u analyze various recording programs, and therefor i wrote the keyword "fraps". Search engine didnt find jackshit but bullshit. Also i dislike the idea that first(as default) it is set to "news". Which moron would search for the news instead of all?

hmm you searched on site, but you were looking for the topic which is on the forum. I never did any search on site so dunno if site ever included forum in the search but on forum search, it's fine.

I see, yep the search ken showed, really does give the wanted results but if there is a search field with the text

"Search Sethioz Industries"

Search In: ALL AREAS..... For me it would mean that it really searches like everything possible under the site sethioz.com. Or does it only search in the shop? Are they somehow separated? Well anyhow, will use search field shown.

The "All Areas" on site includes the one's mentioned in the drop down menu there.
i.e. downloads, news , comments, members , other pages , links.. It does not include the shop.

To search on forum go to Main Menu > Forum > Search.
To search on shop go to Main Menu > Store - Hacks / Mods / Games > Search.

Okay that explains it, but hey if i didnt know how it works, it might be possible that other fellow "noobz" will have some problems with searching. So i think it might be helpful to write a string near to the search like: "warning if u wanna search the keywords in threads use the search on the top of the screen or smt".

hmm .. maybe i should get rid of all those search boxes and make a generic google search box to prevent such issues.

Check out the search again, i got a brand new google-powered search on home page now.
it was actually good that you posted about it, since it does make sense from your point of view that you expect that search to be site wide, so now it is.
