1. get and install steam
2. now install "zero gear demo" (you can get it from steam, for free, just use steam's search)
3. go into this steam folder
4. now copy all of your AVP files into that folder (from C:/Games/avp/ into "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\zero gear\Server" for example).
5. now you need the special crack for avp which will make it work online.

6. install that crack into your avp dir

you should be done, now start the game from avp.exe and you should have online capability.[/color]

They patched that for MW2

im not sure, i guess so, because not many games show up, but it works. its quite boring game anyways so i can't really bother. i will make a test with friend soon if he can join my game using steam version or other way around, we will post reults after the test is done.

Do you know of a good torrent for the game? all the ones ive tried failed.

btw i think you CAN join legit matches, i found out that there's already patch out, because those idiots screwed up with mouse movement, they never added the "mouse filter" aka "smooth mouse". however it still doesn't work lol, their patched "reduce mouse lag" doesn't do shit.
anyways i have older version, but its very disappointing, my friend tried to search for matches using legal steam version and he found like 2-4 matches LOL. thats lame...what an failure this game is.
