yes the long waited stuff. I am the first one who releases this in public ! so enjoy and i gonna knock the shit out of the moron who claims that he/she released it first.
I know that retards at tducentral successfully decrypted the files, but they never released any of that.
Special thanks goes to Luigi for the tdudec tool (included below).

How to edit your car's specs (handling, acceleration, rpm, gear ratio, number of gears...etc)

1. open your DB.bnk file with .bnk editor (included below)
- DB.bnk is located in "TestDriveUnlimited\Euro\Bnk\DataBase"
2. extract "TDU_CarPhysicsData.db" file from DB.bnk
3. use tdudec to decrypt "TDU_CarPhysicsData.db" file

4. now you can open that output file with a text editor and modify it in the way you want.

Here's some tips and tricks:
to read it in very readable format, first open it with HEX editor ( i suggest XVI32 )
replace "3B" (hex value) with "3B 0A" (hex value) and save
now open with text editor, now you will see that each car stat is on new line.
however im not 100% sure yet if you can edit it with text editor, because it has those "NUL" strings at end of file and usually text editor can't handle it and fucks the file up upon save. however feel free to test. i successfully managed to edit my Ford Mustang's stats, however my goal was a fail, i messed car up. rear suspension was underground, but it had super acceleration as i wanted and also 7 gears with crazy top speed.

How to edit DB.bnk content easily:
ok this is quick guide, no details included. ill use TDU_CarPhysicsData.db file as example and how to edit specific car in it.
1. extract TDU_CarPhysicsData.db from DB.bnk using either "tdu modding tools" or "bnk editor"
2. decrypt TDU_CarPhysicsData.db using tdudec
3. open it with hex and replace 3B with 3B 0A and save into new file (carphystext)
4. open that file with text editor and copy this part out of it, into new file:

6. open both files in Notepad++ (NO not in normal notepad, it is important !)
- in notepad++ they open in different tabs, so they are side by side and you can see the number or line !
7. now simply compare it to the opened carphys file, this way you can easily see what value is what.
8. once done, save your carfile
9. open your carfile in hex workshop and replace 3B 0A (sometimes text editor changes it to 3B 0D 0A, then replace this) with just 3B (read above), but do not save this file ! keep it opened:
10. now open your original TDU_CarPhysicsData file (the one you decrypted) too (in hex workshop along side with carfile)
12. now click back to the carfile tab and copy the content by highlighting and choosing copy (right click copy)
13. find the car in TDU_CarPhysicsData by price (or however you want), highlight it, right click it, and choose paste and save the file
14. now use tdudec again to encrypt the file
15. in "tdu modding tools" use "file browser" to open DB.bnk
16. use the replace button to replace the modified TDU_CarPhysicsData.db with your own (it autosaves so make backup)

For further help read GRID - hacks, trainers and others < it is very similiar to TDU. only difference is that tdu uses encryption, but once decrypted you can use same methods i used in GRID to modify, it means you can also use memory editor for online hacks.

EDIT:
deleted those senseless updates. you can't replace whole car with another or it becomes corrupt, there's car name in numeric value, which obviously cannot be replaced.
I managed to make my KITT 2008 (Mustang GT500KR edition) to go over 450km/h before i ran out of road, and acceleration down to like 2.5 - 2.8s from 0 to 100km/h, however shifting kind a messes up, it throws revs beyond limit for a while, i didn't even edit revs, but it still does it.
feel free to test and update. here's and video demonstration on what i did with my GT500KR

UPDATE:
this game is different from all other racing/driving games ive edited and hacked so far, for example gear ratios seem to have no effect on top speed. while in GRID you had to change gear ratios (like in real life) to get higher top speed, in tdu there is field saying "Top_Speed_kmh", this is the value that actually makes your car go faster, however it does not include power. your gear ratios are auto adjusted depending on the top speed. also Power_bhp is the field you want to change if you wanna have more acceleration, however i still haven't managed to make a super car that goes from 0 to 100km/h in less than 1s and over 600km/h. as you can see on the video demonstration i have np reaching 450km/h+ in short time, but theres still some factors preventing you going over.

UPDATE:
problem why cars won't go over ~450km/h is simple, they weight too less, they lose grip and won't go over.
i changed weight from 1600kg to 2000kg and got from 440km/h to 490km/h, however when i changed weight to 9000kg, then it became nearly impossible to drive, takes ages to stop, slides like it would be on ice and acceleration is slow too.
however i managed to made my KITT version quite well, with sequential gearbox, ~500km/h top speed, ~2.7s 0-100km/h, better handling/grip and few other small adjustments, like ride height..etc.

UPDATE:
I have uploaded my version of KITT 2008, if somebody wants to give it a try. here's few things about it:
about 6000HP
0 to 100km/h - ~2.5s
lowered suspension
better grip and handling
more torque
6 gears instead of 5
semi-automatic gearbox for instant gear changes without losing speed

NOTE:
if you want to replace different sized files inside .bnk files, then you need 2 things:
modified "Bnk1.map" file and "tdu modding tools" (.map included below)

how to use KITT (included file):
it is in text format, so open with HEX and replace "3B 0D 0A" with "3B"
highlight it and copy, then paste it over your current mustang in the "TDU_CarPhysicsData.db" file (read above how exactly).

How to find car
by price and power > as far as i know, none of the cars have same power and price.

well this is the tool for this. best method i used is the .bat files. i will put them here and tell you what to do.

1. extract "TDU_CarPhysicsData.db" file from database.bnk
2. place "TDU_CarPhysicsData.db" into the same folder with tdudec.exe and tdudec_d_carphys.bat
3. double click tdudec_d_carphys
- now you will have it decrypted
- tdudec_e_carphys < this is for encrypting the changed file
NOTE - files have to be named exactly the same or the .bat won't work
- tdudec_d_carphys > decrypts TDU_CarPhysicsData.db with a name of TDU_CarPhysicsData (without extension)
- tdudec_e_carphys > encrypts TDU_CarPhysicsData into the TDU_CarPhysicsData.db

so now you can just place them both into the same folder with tdudec.exe and both of my .bat files, then place TDU_CarPhysicsData.db in there and you can use .bat files to encrypt and decrypt by just doublecliking on them.

Hey

YAAAAAAY someone made a handeling editor for TDU AT LAAAASTTTT. But theres only one tiny detail. I CANT GET IT TO WORK?? i do what you mentioned to do and erm it only asks me weather or not i want to overwrite the file in the window that it opens and thats all. :( :( PWEEEEZZ HEWP MEEEEEE

I think that im getting somewhere, i de-crypted the car physics thingymajigy and i opened it with notepad, what do i do now??? sorry guys but ive seriously got some mental health problems, thats the reason that im slow and confused :(:( (I mean it seriously) so if you guys wont mind taking a little time out to help me??? cheers. read the first post again. nice and slow :)
here's few important things for you:

1. you can't edit carphysics in notepad (you can, but when you save it will become corrupt)
2. you have to edit carphysics in hex editor (xvi32 or hex workshop)
3. read the part where i explained how to edit it the fastest way.
- where it explained that you can copy > paste > into new file the part of the handling file you wish to edit, then use hex editor to replace , (comma) with new line (all explained above) so you can easily edit it in notepad.
4. yes you CAN edit parts in notepad, but not whole file.
- you can edit the parts which contain normal text
5. after you edit the part in notepad, replace new line with , (comma) again
6. now you can save this file as new, copy the content, open your carphysics and use hex workshop to replace the old part with your new modified
7. now you can encrypt the carphysics again and use "tdu modding tools" to replace carphysics inside of DB.bnk
- tdu modding tools allows you to replace with new size (modify size) so you don't have to worry about the size problems, however NOTE that you need to use the modified bnk1.map file ! (included in first post).

Thanks for the heads up. I was also using the hex editor neo version and not the one that you recommended, but i have the one that you've recommended now. Anyways there are LOADZ of 3B values i dont know which column/line thingy to look in for the 3B value anyways. I don't know which one is the right one :s i don't want to change the wrong one and end up messing the whole thing up. This text editor that you are talking about , is it the hex editor/notepad??? or is it something different that i have to download??? sorry man but i am real simple minded (DOPEY) lol.

you are making mess :)
1. XVI32 < fast if it comes to replacing lots of data
2. HEX workshop < good for replacing the whole car
3. you replace ALL "3B" (comma) with "3B 0A", once you are done editing your file, you replace "3B 0A" with "3B" again.
- why ? you don't have to, but 0A is new line, so it will make the file way more 'readable' and better for your eyes.
you simply have to test to see what i mean.
maybe ill make video tutorial, because it really is lot of things you need to know, before you can do that in 1min or less.

Thanks a bunch, it makes a lot of sence, i get to the bit where i create the tdudec.d.carphys.bat file and the other one, i right click and go to new and open new text document and then i name it, but it wont change file extension, it stays as a new text document. And what do you click, because it goes out of the window and i cant see what it is that you click. I'm currently running Vista 32bit, i take it you not running vista i think your running xp. could that be causing this problem?? this is the only problem i have, after this it should be plain sailing really. Cheers mate!!! :) :):)

i already included my .bat files in the tduhackz.rar (attached to one of my posts)

you do not need to make .bat files, it will just make it a lot faster and easier. you can just browse in there with cmd and type in the commands manually each time.
i disabled the "hide known file extensions" in windows explorer. and no i do not use that gay vista, its one of the worst OS's ever made, lags like shit, takes too much resources, too big (over 10gb easily, when my custom xp is 900mb) and it has major compatability problems with lots of tools.

however you can change file extension with cmd too, browse into the folder where your text.txt is, then use this command:

OOOH NOOO!!! the game crashes now!!! i put the bnk.map file that you had supplied us with but it does not work, i got rid of the original bnk.map file and stuck it in a different folder, i was doing the same thing you were whilst watching the video EXACTLY and i even put your bnk,map in the correct destination folder, what the hell is happening??? i bet its vista!!! ARGH

use EDIT button when updating something.

no you corrupted your carphysics file. you probably saved it with notepad, forgot to change new line back to comma..or something like that. common mistakes that ppl make.
just in case if more ppl fuck up their game, i have included original bnk1.map and TDU_CarPhysics.db files.
