warlord battlecry 3

Hi everyone, i was wondering have any of you guys play warlord battlecry 3?? if so, have anyone of you try to hack the game using memory editing?? this game is kinda strange because i have tried to memory hack it but i failed many times. I am sure im doing it correctly but maybe the game is too well protected from hacking just like warcraft 3 perhaps? so anyway have anyone of you manage to hack this game??

First of. what type of game is that ?
i did look screenshots, but i still don't get it. is it MMO or Strategy (like red alert..etc) ?
if it's MMO, then most likely you can't hack it, well you can do small things, like change attack speed or runspeed, but obviously not money..etc
If it's strategy, then you can surely do pretty much anything in single player.

Hints about Tsearch and ArtMoney:
Tsearch > go to View - Options - Map Area and enable all, then click OK (some games need those to be ON to be able to show some values)
ArtMoney > go to Search - Options - Searching and set Process type and Bytes order to ALL.
most likely artmoney will find ANY value you are searching for.

however some games does not use the on-screen values. you see that your health (or whtever you search) is 100, but the REAL value is like 20349320
i also found a trainer and it seems like its strategy game ?! anyways game is not 'protected'. if it would be protected then you would not be able to search for anything at all. game would close or won't even start if you have any of the memory tools running.

hi sethioz thanks for replying. anyway warlord battlecry is 3 is a rts game. it resource system is quite unique, let say first you start with 1000 gold and you wont have any incone until you have captured a gold mine so your gold stays at 1000. but the moment you captured one, your gold pile will start to increase by 1 for every second, if you captured more gold mines then the rate of increase is greater, so you might get 3 golds per second. yeah so anyway i have use the Tsearch all enabled features and search for float and byte with wide range of values, it can still find the address which is the same at all time but then Tsearch cannot change the value, so i use the hex editor to see the hex mapping and the value of the resource is actually affected a a line of 6 bytes of value and the reasons why i cannot change the value is because i should have change those 6 bytes but i dont know their value at all, so that's the problem. I am going to try to use unknown value search and 8 bytes search with unknown value next.

and oh it didn't work at all, im running out of ideas. oh and also the game is not mmo it is a single player game

uhm hard to explain. anyways what you can try:
use ArtMoney and do "unknown" type > ALL, when you get gold, then increased...etc.
good way to filter out shit is to pause game and do several "not changed' searches. once you find it, then you can use debugger to find the breakpoint for gold address, from there you can see the function that changes your value. you can register it and make it give like 1000 every second (or whatever you specify).

how big that game is ?
