It was designed for CSS if im correct, but it works fine on all applications.
It requires colored models if you intend to use that in some 1st person shooters. it MAY work if models have some non-textured place that can be used to lock on. You can also set color sensitivity there...so it either locks on range of that color or on exact color ..etc.

Re: [Valve] Aimbot - color aimbot
That thing is really old and it lags like hell (like all color aimbots do).
And newer games usually don't allow you to color the models anymore... So it's pretty much outdated.
BTW, did you scan this file?... AfaIk there was some virus attached to one version.

Re: [Valve] Aimbot - color aimbot
actually i posted it after i tried to ''hack'' Last Chaos with it.
it aims well there, but only problem is that there's no colored models and im no mapper/modeler. i made it aim on monster names and worked great. there's also other things you can do with it..and it doesnt lag if you have a super good pc.
i have 512mb video card (GeForce 7600GS) and it works pretty well in CSS, just need to set it up right. not too fast scan and not too low scan..just enought to keep it locked on. also scanning res should be less as possible (just as much so it would lock on from long distances)
so if you have like 1024mb SLi video cards and like quad core 2.4ghz cpu and 8gb ram (which dont matter, video is most important, maybe cpu too) then it would work perfectly without any lag.
dont need to scan, my zonealarm has active scanning (scans each file that is opened, created, closed or moved)

Re: [Valve] Aimbot - color aimbot
Well, then you really need a SUPER PC, since my setup is this:Sethioz wrote:it doesnt lag if you have a super good pc.
- Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (2x 3GHZ)
- 2x GeForce 8800GTX 768mb @ SLI
- 4GB OCZ PC2-8000 ReaperX HPC Edition (1000MHz)
And even on this machine color aimbots tend to lag (I haven't tested it in CS:S though, only tested a color aimbot in HL2 Singleplayer some time ago)...
I think CPU power and the screen resolution are most important. If you have a strong CPU and use a very low resolution (800x600) AND only use a small scan radius (for example 2-3cm around your crosshair) you might be able to eliminate the lag... So the aimbot would be just some kind of an aim help (so if you already kinda aim at the character, it will just adjust the crosshair to the head for you).
ZoneAlarm kinda sucks... Just downloaded it for a scan:Sethioz wrote:dont need to scan, my zonealarm has active scanning (scans each file that is opened, created, closed or moved)
I'd be careful with this .exe...

Re: [Valve] Aimbot - color aimbot
well thts the way i like it. i never used it all over screen. as you said .. only 2-3cm around crosshair and just to make sure it will lock on from long distance. otherwise its impossible to play when you need to turn away from enemy..it still locks on lol.
nice pc, but damn...even with that it lags ? in last chaos it didnt lag at all and i set it to 640x480 area and quite small scanning resolution (so it scans most of screen and detects names) had no lag at all.
read this. http://aluigi.freeforums.org/antiviruse ... -t273.html
think that most AVs r bullshits...they give too many false positives. they detect stuff that are dangerous to others, not ur own pc (like flooders..etc)

Re: [Valve] Aimbot - color aimbot
Yes... But I've only tested it for about 5 minutes, using a resolution of 1680x1050 with AA and detailes maxed out.Sethioz wrote:nice pc, but damn...even with that it lags ?
I can imagine that it might work much better with low resolutions and stuff, but I don't really like it when you have to adapt your settings to a bot.

Re: [Valve] Aimbot - color aimbot
yeah same. i play on 1600x1200 (my monitor max) and used 2-3cm from crosshair and was quite ok.
its good because it works for other things too.
theres no limits what you can do with it in theory.
for example you can use it on msn too. to track something...etc
in last chaos it worked too...but i dropped the project to make auto hunt bot.
