Ghost Recon Phantoms exploit

Post by PinPoint »

this exploit is ridiculously easy and doesn't require any knowledge of any software etc.
The way the game handles its lag packets leaves an opening for this exploit.

All you need to do is make the game lag. this can be done with a lag switch, a laptop with a wireless on/off button, or by unplugging your ethernet cable for a few seconds.

basically, get in cover, pull out your ethernet cable(disconnect from your router), run around and kill anyone you see, get back in cover, put your cable back in(reconnect to your router) and thats it. you should have between 10 and 15 seconds before you need to plug your cable back in.

a trick I use when sniping is, whilst in cover. as soon as you see someone pop out, pull the cable so they freeze, shoot them, get back in cover, plug cable back in and its done.

lol wow, didn't think this still works, that gave me an idea to make a hack that kills everyone on map, since kills are counted on client side.
it's to reduce the visual lag i guess, good method, but vulnerable.

i think it's enough to intercept the kill packet and then just re-send it to the game and you can kill someone over and over without actually hitting the person lol. I think it detects "hit" on your screen and then sends it to other player "you have been hit".
have you tried messing with packets? I don't really play this game, so haven't done anything.

Ive not messed with any packets for the game. I found this when someone said their connection kept dropping but he still stayed in the game and everyone froze apart from him for about 20 seconds before he was kicked.
Its a good game, used to be ghost recon online until the official launch.
