uber-noob trying to hack ninja kingdom aka dojo mojo

Hey sethioz how are you? well i am an uber-noob to this sort of thing but have cheat engine and have been doing a little research on my own. I have done a couple of tutorials on address locating and then changing values. so then i tried to go live action against a game i play, ninja kingdom,(a flash game on FBook and it is more PvP than multiplayer- not too sure if these are not the same thing in this case- I tried the CheatEngine and got it down to three addresses that were almost identical but that was where my success ended. Of course it is very possible (likely) I did not use CE correctly but when I changed value in game then value changed next to these three addys. I think it may be what is called server-sided value, not sure, but I was most interested in changing my amount(value) of jade, as they charge money for jade. I apologize for my ignorance but I guess you have to start somewhere. Thanks for your time and informative websites.

if you're trying to hack online money, forget it. all server sided. specially things that cost real money.

Only chance is to fool the system to think you have more money, like change some mission reward from 100 to 1 million, so when you complete the mission, server gives you 1 mil instead of 100.
