Need help with Luminary Rise of the Goonzu

Hello , im new in here, and I hope you can help me.

there was another forum with this game name but none could help in there so im trying to get help of experts !

Im playing Luminary Rise of the Goonzu and its a 2D game MMORPG its very funny but acctually its posssible to hack , there are many variables.

what im trying to hack are rare materials, like titanium i tried with WPE but when i try to send a package game closes, im noob with WPE and those hack tools, i`d like to get some help of you please.!

Hi. well first thing you need to realize about packet editors, is that effect is same as you were to change things with memory editor. Think of it this way:

Q - What happens if you change your titanium amount from 100 to 9000 using memory editor?
A - your game client tells server that you have 9000 titanium, game server thinks (WTF, where did that come from? he had 100!) and resets it back to 100.

Q - What happens if you send a packet, saying you have 9000 titanium and not 100?
A - EXACTLY same as before, game server will be notified that you have 9000 titanium all the sudden and resets it to 100.

In other words, there is no difference what you use. Sometimes it is just easier to use packet editor, because if you take action (like pick up material), then its easier to find what you looking for.

You need to find a way to fool the server to think you have more. in most cases, it's not possible to hack online MMO games, because stuff is server sided.
For example you'd have to fool server, by increasing your "collect speed". so if you can collect 100 titanium in 1h, then it would change and you would be able to collect 9000 in 1h, so server thinks it is legit.

You're starting from wrong place tho, instead of trying to get titanium with packet editor, try and hack something SIMPLE with WPE pro. like replicating an action.
I never heard of this game, so no idea what there is or isn't, but for example try casting some spell using WPE pro and see if it even works on the game.

I see, well i tried to find some players that says they dupe, they said it works by trading someone, you trade get the right package and then you send it, the other player accepts and you and other player gets the item (duplicated) .

is there a way you can download the game and help me out? Ill guide you there if need any help?!

oh no no, im not into such games + it would take quite long to research the game protocol.
You said it yourself, do what you just said. WPE Pro is not the best bet tho, i would go with CommView. Setup packet filters and set it to ignore anything that goes thru normally, well you need to do bit of research on game protocol and see what packets are needed and what not.

In other word, you probably have like 100 packets per second going thru when you sit idle in game, so you need to ignore those packets and find the "trade" packet. Once you know how trade packet looks like, you can make a filter for it and capture only the trade packets.
For example lot of games have something like "keep-alive" in them, those packets are not needed, you can filter them out. Also some games have "chat" or "msg" or something like that, whenever someone uses the global / nearby chat, then you can filter those out too. CommView can do all that.
Then in WPE Pro, you can capture like 1000 packets, find the trade packet manually and re-send it.

Ok, i finally identified the trade package, now, how do I dupe any item? ... I made a filter with trade package so i only get trade packages now, but the thing is, im trading lets say 20 coal, I identify the package but I dont know what to do with it, I tried just resend it and game kickes me out very fast... you know what am I doing bad?

What did you use to re-send it with? WPE Pro?
in WPE Pro, you can add packet into send list and do it from there.

Also check if packets have some sort of number identifaction or checksum. some games have packet numbers or some other identification, so that if "out of order" packet is received, you get kicked / desynced. you might have to modify the packet before sending, but it should work fine with WPE Pro.

Capture some packets using CommView and post them in here. read the CommView article if you don't know how to save packets using CommView, also highlight the trade packet for me. i mean give me the packet number for trade packet in the saved file (commview labels each packet with a number).
