* Video demonstration of packet modification

This is experimental, i havent tested this yet, but setting up my ps3 connection via 2 routers and pc .. gave me excellent idea.
here's how my system is setup:

PS3 connects to router using ethernet cable (aka LAN cable)
router is connected to PS3 and 2 other PCs, but it has NO internet
server machine (my other pc) uses wireless internet off of another router (no LAN access)
server machine runs a proxymini (forwarding proxy / proxy data pipe) and gives internet to ps3 via proxy

confusing, i KNOW.
so to put it in short, inside of PS3 network settings i chose "use proxy"
i put there 192.168.1.70 port 8123 (default for proxymini).
where 192.168.1.70 is server machine's IP
so PS3 connects to server machine via router and uses proxy server to connect into internet via server machine's proxy.

hope i made it clear enough, so this means that on server machine i can run program's like WPE pro (known hacking tool to intercept packets) or commview or any other good packet tool to monitor and intercept packets.
proxocket would work very well to make permanent filters. .. this allows me to hack ps3 games online muahahaha :)

even tho i haven't tried this yet, im 100% sure it will work, since i can already see my PS3 requests.

Code: Select all
- ready for HTTP, HTTP CONNECT, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 (both TCP and UDP)
192.168.1.64:56650 connected
192.168.1.64:56650 CONNECT a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net:443/
192.168.1.64:56650 disconnected
192.168.1.64:56648 connected
192.168.1.64:56648 GET fuk01.ps3.update.playstation.net:80/update/ps3/list/us/ps
3-updatelist.txt
192.168.1.64:56648 disconnected
192.168.1.64:56647 connected
192.168.1.64:56647 HEAD duk01.ps3.update.playstation.net:80/update/ps3/image/us/
2011_0623_f4cbe2651e9a0c6115028043bdc2c5dd/PS3UPDAT.PUP
192.168.1.64:56647 disconnected

these are simple http requests i see in proxymini, i dont have any tools on server machine to monitor network data, as said, it will work 100%
i cant play online tho, since my ps3 is jailbroken and if i update .. i lose my jailbreak and you cant use PS3 network without updated firmware.
so if some1 is interested of hacking online, go ahead and follow this guide.

just as i tought, it works perfectly. i have successfully completed a test, intercepted a packet and changed its data and sent it back to PS3 :)
i will make demonstration video of this.

i have updated wiki article, all the details are there.
