hey
im wondering if theres an easy way to get some Steam accounts with some games on it ( or just Counter-strike )
ive also tried to install PacSteam ( a cracked version of steam ) but it seems its infected with some viruses and some people coplain about it cause its a failure etc.
i have a program named oDC where you can chat with people,and download their shared files and the great part is some stupid users use to share their original Steam.
that would be a way to get some accounts , but i dont know what exactly to download from the user and i dont know whats the file where his account and password are written.
so i would appreciate ur help if you know something about steam accounts and so

first of, this is not game hacking, it is account hacking.
pacsteam is old version, there's this paccafe or whatever it was. i was able to download css, hl2 and gmod with it.
if it comes to me, then i have my own ways to get steam accounts i have lots of them and hmm, maybe i could sell few (pm me about it).
anyways there's a way to get the password if you have access to person's steam folder. Luigi have wrote a nice tool (i haven't tested it) which can do just that. as explained, it may not work if you try to recover it from other computer.

decodes the passwords stored in the local ClientRegistry.blob file, remember that Steam uses an unique key to encrypt the password so if you have reinstalled your Windows you could not be able to recover it
works also from command-line allowing to pass directly the encrypted password and the needed key

There's also steambuster, which allows you to install steam games from .gcf files. There was some forum where they had lots of steam games (.gcf files). so you can download them and then use steambuster to install them.

btw did you even use search ?? you know you could have put "steam" into search. Here's a topic you prolly interested in (YES search shows it).

ok ive made these steps and ive got like 5 or 6 files of ''Clientregistry.blob"
after trying all those files it comes to a common error and it says
"Password not found,probably you have not saved or have disabled the storing of the local account informations through the Settings menu of Steam"
are you sure this is the only file i have to get from the user? i have acces to all his files of the directory ''Valve/Steam'' etc

as i said i never tested it before. You can ask from Luigi about the tool, im sure he knows exactly how it works, after all he wrote it.
maybe it is because you have to recover it in his pc. can you upload files there too, or only download ? if you can upload too, then you could use proxocket to capture some packets from his steam , which hopefully contain either password or encrypted pass or at least the custom encryption key.

these are 2 files of clientregistry from 2 diffrent people (maybe you can do something to get their pws,oh and another problem would be if i get their passwords how do i know their account name lol)

well, as i said this is a program where ppl chat and they download from others etc , they only stay on it like 5 or 10 minutes to finish their dowload and they leave + i searched for these 2 files and downloaded them randomly

umm their account name is under steam, like so:

why do you use some gay sharing ? use "upload attachment" instead.

as about this chating and sharing, even if they stay for few minutes, is it still possible to upload something ? it is enought to place on .dll file into steam folder and hope that this person comes back there after a while, so you can download the logfile it made Im talking about proxocket's .dll, it is not detected as malware, because its a simple packet capturer.[/color]

sadly not, the only thing i can do is to download from them.
so it comes either i download some stuff from them ( which i dunno what to ), either i must think for another way to get some nice accounts and play cs

to be able to play in legal server, you need legal steam (not vac banned ofcourse). if you want to play in those "cracked" servers (ppl call them that way), then you can download the .gcf files from somebody and use steambuster.
ofcourse there's ways to steal accounts from ppl, but im not going to teach such things

lol well, if i play on cracked servers why do i still need some files? cracked servers are non steam after all right!?

later ive remebered another way to have fun and ive downloaded the file users.ini from their pc, and thats the file where the host writes the admins and their pws.
it was something like this for example:
Seth:asd123:131931
seth is his admin name
asd123 is his password
131931 is the code for God
so, after downloading and downloading such things i saw somewhere something like
STEAM_0:1:234567:steamy!:184
but the thing is "STEAM_0:1:234567" wtf? is that even an account name lol and i always get a list of like 20 players and their pws and dammit i dont know what player has steam,and who doesn't

so im thinking this is a simple a easy way to get some nice accounts but i need something to check their names and to see who has steam and who doesn't

blah, as i said. steambuster allows you to install games from .gcf files. .gcf files are what you get from legal steam when downloading, when you launch the game, then it makes quick installation and game is ready to play. this is what steambuster does, it uses .gcf to install and launch the game.

"STEAM_0:1:234567" - its a steam ID, not account name. i think there's a way to get account name by it, but im not sure. you can contact steam and say that you forgot your account name and e-mail, but you know steam id, so maybe they tell you the steam account name, but i doubt. they never reply to those things, but its still worth a try.

you know, you can try those passwords on that clan forum if you do get into that clan forum, then pm and i tell you what you can do with it.

nah, not sharing them for free. Don't want to go into details how i got lots of them and still getting, because then ppl would protect themselves against it, but if they don't know, then can't prevent it
I also asked Luigi about the password recovery, he said that you can't use the tool in other computer. Steam uses some windows serial or something like that to encrypt the password.

ok so if i use non steam CS and i download some .gcf files then i can play on servers where steam is needed? if thats so , tell me what to download from the users and i wont need steam account anymore

no lol, you need valid serial to be able to play in steam servers. im not sure, but i think serial is also stored somewhere in files. I used packet editor to monitor some traffic and big surprise was that cd-key was sent in plain text in half-life (steam based). Half-life is not 100% steam if im correct, this is why it sends serial, im not sure about other games, because they come with account. in other words, you need legal steam to be able to play in legal servers.
i already explained that .gcf files are what steam uses to install and play games, when you download game thru legal steam, it makes .gcf file. steambuster simply allows you to boot up the game from a .gcf file, it can not hack into steam servers and let you play in there.
