How to "illegally" update Playstation games (PS3, PS2..etc)

I wanted to update The Last of Us today and i noticed there are no torrents for update, so i checked one great tool called "PSN Stuff" and it can easily grab the PS3 updates, np.
As far as i know, it is not illegal, because it imitates PS3 and downloads the update just like you would via PS3.
I can't bother uploading it here, so google for it or check this release post here:

If link doesn't work and you can't find it on google, post here and i can upload it for you.
NOTE - you need internet connection for this tool to be able to update any PS3 games (obviously it downloads them from internet).
