Watch_Dogs - Number of Possibilities with that Ending

Don't read if you haven't finished, spoilers ahead.
I finished WD story and I didn't enjoy it much. Maybe just me because AC story is far faaar better.

But with the ending of WD we saw ctOS 2.0 and theres tons of things similar to Assassin's Creed. What all things can happen with that ending?

Sequel, obviously.
Connection to Assassin's Creed
Dedsec as next Antagonist

Sequel can happen in any other city as ctOS gets expanded to other cities around the world.

In AC4 if you hack into certain computers you find files related to WD. Theres tons of info in computers about ctOS found in Abstergo Industries. Theres also an email I read which mentioned something of selling or buying the system and installing it in Abstergo. So if ctOS is in Abstergo then Dedsec and others could also be the one's to read all about the Animus.
Oh and also this guy:
asdasda.jpg
He's the same guy who we see in the beginning of AC4. He sets us up to the Animus with that red haired girl. Also the "Targeted by Brotherhood" is the Assassin's Brotherhood.
This guy talks to us in AC4 when we are out of Animus (modern day) and later disappears on his way to a meeting in Chicago (when we listen on his conversation on phone).
So we can say both happens in the same universe.

If Ubisoft does make a connection in both games (which I think they will) it will be really awesome. Same way they made connection of AC to real life 21/12/2012.

and about Dedsec, we don't really know much about them but they said they will not forget this(Aiden refusing to let them in ctOS), so they could be the next antagonist in WD 2.
Dedsec could also be the Assassin's of Modern/current time.

In AC4 we find a machine made by aliens which could keep tabs on every person they want if they had their blood, ctOS could also be a bad copy of that technology. Also we never saw the face / name / voice of the character who sits on the Animum in AC4. So we don't really know who we are in AC4, I don't know why that is. It could simply mean that as first person 'we' are the one's appointed at Abstergo to use the Animus or maybe uhhh it's Aiden :P

I love how tag line of WD is "Everything is Connected", could mean connection by ctOS, or just connection to AC :)

Also what's funny is the Aiden's name. In AC we are looking for "Pieces of Eden" which is awfully similar to "Aiden Pearce".
Aiden / Eden,
Pearce / Piece.

AC ending has been already decided and what I think would be awesome is for WD and AC to have the same ending. Like in the AC end we play from perspective of AC character of that time and in WD end things connect and we play from perspective of Aiden or whoever the character is at the time.

Well that's all the possibilites I can think for now and these are really awesome, this is the reason I like Ubisoft games.

ahahah i didn't know about AC4 being in new age now, might give it a try.
I liked the WD story a lot, usually it all ends with "good guys" getting it all and bad guys losing it all, but WD was quite neutral, to begin with, Aiden wasn't even a good guy, he was the one who hacked into bank accounts to steal money (or did i misunderstand?) and then without him even knowing, he stumbled upon some secrets (Mayor killing a woman on video) and then mafia sent people to hit him, but they killed his niece instead. Also at end that girl died too (BadBoy17).

I find it cool that they are mixing games tho, reminds me of Marvel (movie industry), they mix content too and its really cool. Like seeing Hulk. Ironman, Captain America, Thor ..etc all mixed together.

Aiden > Eden .. ahah now i understand why they pronounce Aiden differently. I'm not good at explaining pronouncing, but I've always said Aiden in a way it is said in "Beyond: Two Souls" (you can watch one of my videos and listen how they say it), in WD they pronounce it more like "Eden", now it makes sense why.
Both are english tho, it is just matter of preference or maybe british / american thing.

At end, haven't you noticed that ALL games and movies are left open nowdays? nothing truly ends, there is always something left open for a sequel. it's a good trick tho, so people want to see what happens next and spectate, just like this topic proves.
+ it's a cheap/good trick to make people tell you the story, i'm sure movie and game makers google around and see what people talk about their sequel and write down notes and implant them into the sequel. At least i would do it.

Assassin's Creed has always been present + past. They use a machine(Animus) to see memories of someone's ancestors in past to find things in future.
Like a key, they go through the memories of the person with key say in 1800, then they follow where they left key and visit that place in the present - 2014.
Mostly they are looking for ancient alien technology (Pieces of Eden) , the one in AC4 is very similar to ctOS as it's used to spy on every person on Earth as I said earlier.
However if you decide to play, skip AC1. It's awful and have near to 0 content to contribute to story, I started with 2 as well and went back to 1 later.
Gameplay is pretty much the same as WD but with lesser guns and no hacks obviously. Guns are still there but not as much. Assassins wear portable guns on their arms which is kept hidden but no one really uses them much, atleast I don't. Stealth is exactly the same. Music / Soundtrack of AC is my all time favourite in games.

WD story was pretty straight forward and simple. The only thing kept secret was why was Aiden and his family targetted. He was hacking for money but they thought he wanted the video. He didn't get the video earlier on, he came across the video later while killing the guy who dies of pacemaker hack.
Maybe it was good and I only feel it as an OK story because I'm comparing it to AC.

From what I found out about next AC (Unity), the person sitting on the Animus is "us", employed at Abstergo. So it's not Aiden. Now that I think about it it would've made no sense. As we are still at Abstergo when boss leaves for Chicago and dies at the hand of Aiden. So Aiden is in Chicago at the time when we are sitting on the Animus.
But still Abstergo in game acts like real life Ubisoft, with employee names same as names of people at Ubisoft. And Abstergo with the animus memories makes AC games and sells them so that's why it's "us" working at Abstergo / Ubisoft.

Yeah open ending really gives scope to a lot of things to do in the future.

Considering this was WD1, if just like AC1 this was just the beginning then it will get alot ALOT better. During the time AC1 was out people loved it but as soon as 2 came out everyone realized how bad it was.
Here is list of AC games in order:

AC1

AC2
AC Brotherhood
AC Revelations

AC3

AC4 - Black Flag

with a new number, a new assassin / character takes over the game. So if WD follows the same thing we could see instead of WD2,
WD - Dedsec.
So when Aiden either dies or something happens, they move on to next number.

Also did you kill or leave that guy in the end? I kept him alive.
He kept on saying numbers - 1..2..3..5.
I think this might hold some meaning later on in next game.
