.PSS - it is used in PS2 games (probably somewhere else too) program that can handle .pss files is ''pss plex''
.AFS - also used in PS2 games. i found some ''universal AFS file extractor'' which seem to be working, but with glitches and errors.
.ARC - stands for archive and those .arc files can be different and use different compression. one of the tools that can handle .arc files that are used in games like: devil may cry series, just cause, tomb raider (i think), is ''game extractor''
