after like 2 months i finally got it working...more or less.
its just nonsense. it has like 3-22fps and nothing works. i setup a controller and it just transfers to my other controller on some reason...basically controller setup does whtever it wants.

BIOS is also a problem. sites like http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/ps2/ this can't put bios in it, because BIOS is simply copyright protected. i managed to get my hands on some ps2 bios from 2001 - 2004 so i was able to get it working.

anyways display is just crap and not working.
just go to that site i mentioned above and get PCSX2. you also need to make image of your ps2 game to run it, but im telling you, its total junk. its only for testing purposes, its impossible to play. maybe if you have some super pc then it runs normally, but i doubt its only hardware...its because its hard to emulate ps2 system..frames r out of sync and such stuff.
..about bios .. i can send you them if you ask, but im not uploading them here.
if u willing to give it a try then let me know too...maybe somebody gets it running better.

you can also google for bios, theres lots of them, but generally it is illegal to upload them and share so i won't be putting them on my site.

finally after 4 months of hardwork i made ps2 emulator work at a good speed on my weak pc......i dont hav a super pc.....its 1 gb ram and i dont hav any of those nvidia or ati radeon video card......to make it work we just need to configure it properly.....i run ps2 games at a nice playable speed on my pc ...... use this video and configure your pcsx2 like this and it will run ps2 games at a nice speed......

NOTICE: all games r not playable in pcsx2 so before downloading any game go to pcsx2.net and see if pcsx2 supports your game.....

and yes dont say that u did not see a increase in the speed of your games.....look in my youtube videos i also hav a gameplay of dbz bt3 on pcsx2 which people says that they requires a pc os 3.4 ghz to run at full speed ...my pc is 2.50ghz but it runs at full speed.... good luck ;)

Well ive tryed PSCX2 on default settings and so far ive tryed : FFX - Runs like on ps2 no lag no spikes
FFX2- Light issue with GFX settings im guessing.

My pc Specs shorty
2.4ghz QuadCore
256mb Nvidia 8800
3Gb Ram
So i gues with Bit better GFX card i could maybe get rid of GFX issue im having in FFX2 unlike in FFX.

after Testing dif settings il post mine here.

that's not enought :) you need to put specific config too, because it is not always same if you choose it.
either ss or detailed post. i can't bother with it myself atm, but its good to have it here. i gonna check it once i'll deal with ps emu stuff again.

well as ive noticed that Videos are better on software rendering but game it self hardware
gonna try on my Lappy today and see if its any difrent that my Quad but the ''Speed Hacks'' in pcsx2 helped in some way actually made game play kinda smoother in some way at slow parts. Dosent seem to be many updates away when PS2 games are fully playable.

I'll updated changes that i notice today once i get time.

if my retard intel g33 can run those things on full speed then y wont the nvidia 7800 of sethioz and the other better video cards wont run those games.......notice that there r many pcsx2 versions and if 1 game is not playable in 1 then it is playable on the other.....like for example in the compatibility list of pcsx2 site ben10 protector of earth is "ingame" status with written 0.9.6 pcsx2 version but i made it fully playable from beginning to end on the r1888 version.......there is very less games left which NOT playable.......for weak end machines like mine the video i posted above will help and will make the game run at full speed....

as i said before, i say again. ps2 emulators have nothing to do with your hardware. it is enought if you have like 2ghz single core with 1gb ram and 128mb video.
it about synchronizing the BIOS of ps2, which they haven't managed to do successfully. this is why it slows down games.
and i have 9500GT 512mb.

Well.. i just tested my lappy Its Much better no lag at all... FPS 60 99% of time and what i mean about rendering Cut scenes etc movies are better on software quality is better.

as i said, it is BIOS. there's like japan, europe and usa versions of BIOS and same with games. also PAL, NTSC and SECAM. it all matters. im sure that if your game is like japan and pal, then ALL of the same versions work perfectly in your emu.

somebody test metal gear solid 3 snake eater, only game i am interested atm.

sethioz you can easily play metal gear solid 3 snake eater on pcsx2 0.9.6 with gsdx 890......it will work smoothly like a cheese :)
it will not crash on any place and u can play it from beginning to end so its status is "playable"

and i know about ntsc and pal but not heard of secam....wtf is this thing?

secam is french and it is first colored tv's standard, im not sure if any of the ps2 games use secam, but back in the days when i had psx, my tv had secam option too.

i just cant bother with this stuff, if somebody would post exact settings and include the BIOS and emu in post, then i would give it a shot. i wasted like month for that shit and it still lagged.

it took 3 months for me to get the configuration and after that i made that video above......lag means that it is not configured properly and most probable the config>graphics and config>cpu settings............try config>graphics and there if u have numbers 1024 x 1024 then choose native or just replace the number with 512 x 512(this will boost it up like awesome but will give graphics as hell)

The best pcsx2: pcsx2 r1888 beta.

Best graphic plugin: Gsdx 2693 (MSVC 15.00,SSExx)0.1.6 [xx varies from cpu to cpu,it your cpu supports sse2 use it,if it supports sse4.1 use it.....My cpu supports MMX,SSE,SSE2,SSE3,SSSE3 so i use ssse3,if anyone's cpu supports higher than this he shuld use that.

Best sound plugin: SPU2-x 1.2.0

controller plugins: anyone u like, i use Lilypad r1853(some controller plugin have problem using left analog stick so b carefull.

Cdvd plugin: CDVD 0.1.0 : This one can run iso's as well as directly from dvd and also there r some plugins which dont run a few iso like for example my game dbz infinite world iso was not run by cdvdgigah something plugin but CDVD 0.1.0 ran it nicely and i use this and is able to run every game i throw at it.

BIOS: It dont matter which one i use,i get same fps with all.

BIOS doesnt matter, cuz its just BIOS (Basic Input Output System), it only makes it work, but has nothing to do with actual FPS or how fast game runs. it either works or it doesnt work at all.

If I slow the Intel G33 can run at full speed these things not so y the sethioz NVIDIA's 7800 and the other a better video card to run these games ....... will not notice many ř pcsx2 version and the game If one is not a playable then it is in other players ...

sethioz hav a Nvidia Gt 240.....u need to understand how pcsx2 works,main thing is the cpu.Anything below a dual-core 2ghz will make fps fall to 4-5,totally digusting.Gpu and ram affects ps2 itnernal res,more ram or better gpu means better internal res so more crystal clear graphics.yes,there r many R pcsx2 version but only one "r1888".There are only 1 or 2% games left which r unplayable now.If a game dont work in one pcsx2,it works in other,either a new or a old version.For myself i hav 3 pcsx2,pcsx2 0.9.6,r1888,and r3113.God of war 2 work only on r3113,not on other 2,mortal kombat armageddon works only on 0.9.6 but not on other 2.

in fact this is not how it works. reason why there is no working emu (that works without any lag) is that they are not able to synchronize it so well. ps2 has 600mhz or something if im correct (cant bother googling). and only like 32mb video.

Anyone who cant get it working no matter what then ask..But before asking you must configure it with any of these videos:

If you have a really weak pc:

Mid end pc or powerfull pc:

Videos will never get removed from those places.

those 2 videos have EVERYTHING you need to know/do with pcsx2 to get all good 60fps.

Before asking for help post your pc specs too,it helps save time.And tell the exact model of your processor and Graphic card..Dont just say dual-core @2.51ghz, but tell exactly what it is..like i have pentium R dual-core E5200 @2.51Ghz..

P.S. For best performance use Pcsx2 r1888 with new GSDX plugin but old sound plugin(SPU2x 0.1.2).
New sound plugins may give better sound and support 5.1 and 7.1 sound but it takes 10-15 fps from you in some games. ;P
