Tsearch Versus Cheat Engine

Well , which one do you think its the better one?

On chat engine , playing AC revelations, i tryed to find the money address , scanned like 5+ times , on tSearch just 2 !! ( and the second one was just to make sure)

In order to make a fly hack ( in which i dont know how to do that which Cheat engine , like , pick the adress and make some codes and bla bla ) , on tSearch u would need only to find the adress and pick it and add it to TMK , But, theres the BAD point, TMK have Such a TRASH GUI , and , if i die or w/e , using the Tsearch AutoHack, the cheat for liek , inf money, still works , but , on CE , doesnt...

So, i ean that, i wanna get the adress just like on Tsearch , and instead of mking a shitty trainer using that TMK (Helpfull but , the GUI Sucks..) i wanna get the adress and put it to , idk , VB (if possible)

What d you think of this ? Make my trainers With TMK , or try to break my head with VB ? If u say VB , Then please help me , i know how to ready and write to a process memry, so , i will just need to know how to make the thing works , cuz everytiem you die , the gam change values , so , i need to find the Static address , But , wihanges like a thunder... What do i do ? What do you think? And firstly , Which one do you think its better for: CREATING TRAINERS (with Good apparence xD )

first of, check your damn spelling. "so, i ean that" ?? just look what you write dude.

i don't really understand what you mean in tsearch you take the address and add into TMK. it doesn't work like that. you have to breakpoint it first ..etc
in cheat engine you can do same, you can breakpoint the address.
in cheat engine you can use auto assembler to write scripts. you just have to learn auto assembler. if you understand easywrite in tsearch, then its easy to understand auto assembler.

no idea why you even brought up VB. cheat engine has full support to write trainers with custom interface. it just uses ASM. so does tsearch actually, but asm is not always exactly same, some syntaxes are different. just learn auto assembler in CE, its quite easy.


as about search abilites, it depends on search. Tsearch is a lot better when it comes to 1 byte searches. tsearch just gets stuck and lags like crazy, while cheat engine seem to work better for 4 bytes search.
however neither can do 3 bytes search, in that case im using ArtMoney. for example in one of the NFS games, cheathappens morons were unable to make money hack (and everyone else who make trainers), because they were too dumb to use 3 bytes search type, however on some reason money was findable only using 3 bytes. so in that case i used ArtMoney's "ALL" search type.

if trainer making is all you want, then use cheat engine's trainer maker. works great. sometimes i use artmoney and tsearch to find some addresses, but then i use cheat engine to write the script and then make trainer out of it.

Sorry about the spelling, i write all because i dont wanna lose the ideias and , in the end i forget to fix the spelling errors.


So , all i have to do , is to use the Cheat engine "Trainer maker" to do the tricks to me , because , vb is only loss of time , ok i got it! thank you !!

Another question is that , Yes i already read yours tutorials on scanning and so , i've made lots of trainers to lots of games , and i acctually made a hack in an online game where you can change your name (Using WPe pro , but , this isnt the topic).

Ok, so , in Assassin's creed Revelations (Like other games) the address of money change everytime...(Even on restart game or normal playthrough...)
This was the first game , where , i couldnt find the Static address!! You find the address, find the one that reads from it , and try once more, but it points to its self, and then , u try to scan " What acesses.." but, nor this and nor the "Find what writes.." find something , so , im stuck here , cant make trainers because of that, What do i do ? I'm so confused , all games i did it , but , the ACR i couldn't i'm so " Gez.... i lost my powers D: " Right now , hahaha....

Any tips or w/e?

this isnt really tsearch vs ce anymore.
this is more like basic game hacking.
you need to breakpoint the address (in ce > find out what writes to this address) if that doesnt work try pointer scan in CE.

if you want to hack specific game, make new topic with "game name hacking" in game hacks.

you can always try and reverse a trainer and see how it was done, in this matter tsearch is better. use it on 1 byte. if you dont know how, then you must learn basics first.
i have reversed quite a few trainers using tsearch and rewritten in CE.

Personally I think its about what you're trying to do to find addresses to patch and make your own trainers, or just hack regular, etc.
for larger games with loads of values cheat engine has more features to narrow down searching
for smaller games where you're looking for a quick value to find & edit, definitely Tsearch.

And I find Tsearches autohack, and hotkey maker much easier to navigate through/with

i have migrated to CE slowly, but tsearch still beats CE in some areas. like 1 byte search, where Tsearch does miracles and CE gets stuck.
