Hi there,

i have been trying to use this program(luigi site) however i dont see to get it workin. Tried on my servers, some were emptly some half full, never worked.

Sometimes the thing cant even connect, then mostly it just throws an error with "timeout, no reply received". (mybe firewall or stuff?)
So, do anyone have an idea why its not working?

the short answer is just: use it without specifying -g

UPDATE!
Actually after some hours i had an idea...how about tryin to "flood" my own server? So i tried it with my external ip. Ofc didnt work. Then i tried it with my internal ip (192.168.x.x) and it worked!
lithfp.exe 192.168.x.x 27888 <--- worked
lithfp.exe -g fear 192.168.x.x 27888 <---didnt work
So yes, u was right with the -g thing! Only problem is that i still cant use this thing for "external" ip. Do i need some port forwarding or mybe just my firewall? Any ideas?

you can't attack yourself silly. you have to use 127.0.0.1 (localhost) to attack yourself.
problem is not in the tool, problem is you misusing it.

and what is the point of hiding your local ip ? 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.64 or something similar. like really, what is the deal with hiding it ????
based on your poor knowledge on hiding local ip .. id say you just trying to connect into wrong place and that's your problem.

1.) I actually could use(worked!) the tool for my server, BUT ONLY WHEN I USED the local ip with 192.168.1.3 (didnt hide it happy? xD) but its not working if u use it for external ip like 38.203.xx.xx. The port is of course always 27888.
I didnt try using it with localhost (127.0.0.1), since it worked with my internal ip.

if you are trying to dos yourself, then only local ip works obviously. if you want to use your external IP, you need to ask someone else to test it on you or use a proxy server.

Thats my problem, i cant use this program for OTHER hosts. The only thing thats working if u dos your own server (127.0.0.1/192.168.1.2 same result ), working!
But like i said you cant use it for other servers!
I tried other programs from luigi too.
The udpsz program is working fine, so the ip and the port are correct!
The error msg i get once more:

Luigi said it worked for him. it must be problem with you. it is not my tool, so i can't help.
if you stop hiding the IP, then all i can do is run a test and see if it works from my end.
if its your friend's server or yours ..etc. then PM me the ip if you dont want it public.

Hmm do u have the game at all? I mean i think you need the game for it.(Im not sure through) Anyhow, its allright for me, i can give you some ip's and you could test the tool if it works...Would really appreciate it.
This guy is almost always hosting 72.130.9.212 (Underdog, armored front), port 27888(probaly for sure).

this shows that you have NO knowledge of these tools at all.
you think that cmd tool connects via game ? its direct connection to server and has NOTHING to do with game client.

ip you gave me is up, port is closed.

you can't just do some (#)UJFDSFU()SDAFHASD() and expect it to work.
you're just making chaos yourself. how can you even not know the port ?

i scanned the port and its closed. ofcourse you get errors if you input wrong information..duh

I thought u need the game for the s-id thing, but allright since its just a cmd-packet sending u really dont need the physical game. Anyhow


Usage: lithfp.exe [options] <host> <port>

Options:
-g G specify a game or its guid in case it's not recognized/supported
for having the list of supported games use -g ?
the G argument can be the name or part of the name of the game, or its
number or a custom guid in hexadecimal form (like "00 11 22 ...") or
native one (like df560590-d918-4a51-9cb1-38ebbe3879ad)
this guid is in the join packet visible with a sniffer because it begins
with 00 03 00 for protocol 1 and 10 7f 33 01 for protocol 2 (contact me)
-n experimental for protocol 2 games, gives a random name to the players

the most used port is usually 27888
this tool automatically works also any password protected server without
knowing the password!

Fear2 uses the port 27888. Also if i use comodo it shows ip:27888 so i think the port is allright.

again, this is not my tool, but judging by the tool, it does not communicate with game at all.
you think it magically just gets the GUID out of game somehow ? and it magically guesses where the game is installed..etc ?
i dont think so.

i say again, ip is up and running, port 27888 seem to be closed.

go into game, connect into the server you trying to attack, once you are INSIDE of server, run a packet sniffer and see what is the port.
this way you get right port 100%

Gosh the port must be correct!
Tried with wpe pro (didnt show shit, crappy program), wireshark, and comodo firewall.

i have no words...
now you have 2 different IPs already. which one it fucking is then ?

82.160.180.2:27888 is down. i tried the direct scan and there is nothing there, no server running.
i can't bother with this. this is not my tool + Luigi tested and said it works fine.

Duuude i just uploaded this to show u that the port is ALWAYS 27888!
Ofc its a different ip, in fear2 ppl dont host all the time like in call of duty. In the best case people host like for 2-3 rounds (40min) than they close the server.
However the underdog guy is hosting almost 24/7.
Also i received a msg from luigi:
you are behind NAT so you can't reach your server directly, simple.
that's why you receive no reply.

Gamespy NAT negotiation has been reversed but obviously I don't
implement it in all my tools because it's out of their purpose.
I dont really know what this should mean or how to "fix" it, i mean i did the port forwarding stuff for 27888...

i don't really see how they could have patched all lithtech engines at once. maybe they just patched fear2.
when i asked Luigi, he said it worked without -g.
anyway i can't help with this tool

Hi guyz , i discovered something interesting.
The program isnt working for many servers. But i found ONE which seem to fail against the program. Its the OMEN server (my first post).
Its the only server so far which really gets affected by the program.

A screen with the server ip/ports is also attached. For me , nothing makes sense now...why does it work with his server and why not with all the others? Does he have a shitty firewall, or he just port forwarded the port 27888? I have really no idea mybe u guyz will have an idea...

I have NEVER said that the tool doesn't work, because indeed the tool
works perfectly as it ever did.

I told that ***** that I don't support hosts behind NAT because
otherwise I should add an additional piece of code (Gamespy NAT
negotiation that I altready reversed) to all my tools.
but I don't care because it's not their purpose at the moment and for
sure I have no desire to modify 100 tools only to add this feature with
all the problems derived like the need of specifying a gamename so if I
have a tool that works versus an entire engine (lithtech, quake 3 and so
on) I must also find a way so that the user specifies the correct
gamename because I can't add a scanning feature otherwise all the
future games will be cut out... too much effort for me and for them.
