Hotmail / MSN accounts owned / hacked

as many of you have already heard, there was some serious public ownage going on and at least 10000 accounts got owned.
im sure that many of you think that i was behind this, yes i do have over 20000 owned/hacked hotmail, yahoo, aol, gmail, paypal..etc accounts, however i was not behind it this time.

as far as i know, it was done by phising. most likely it was done in the lamest way possible.
if author of this (the person/s who was behind this) reads this, then i do not call you lame ! i mean the way is lame/easiest.
well, but this is how things are, hackers always go for the easiest way (including myself). there is no point of some high tech stuff if you can get accounts that easy.

yes, im quite sure that it was done with those fake sites. it begins in msn, where somebody gets this stupid 'virus' in computer.
virus - it is not exactly virus, it is more like a spambot or something like this. it can not log your details, but what it does, is it sends a fake message to all of your msn contacts, saying something like

"OMFG !! is this you ??? this person looks just like you! check it out ! http blahdohduhshitcraplamecrap.lam/myalbums/yourmsnname/haha.jpg"

it is automated bot, which generates your name into the link somehow. clicking the link does not 'hack' you, however when you click, then it takes you to site where it looks quite legal and real and it says that you have to login with your msn/hotmail passport in order to see the album, when you insert your details, it will log them.

actually im not even surprised that so many ppl have fell for it. i am 100% sure that whoever is behind this, have way more than those posted in public. well i have about 9000 of those owned accounts with password. i used the whole list to make a wordlist out of it for cracking and uploaded it into my downloads > others.

anyways, congrats to whoever have done this ! keep up the good work, eliminate the retards, they deserve it.

indeed, but fortunetly for us, 99% of world is full of such complete retards so we can have a good laugh at their expense :)
i remember that i made a test fake page and showed to one 'friend', i wasnt even planning on stealing his login info, but that moron logged in with his real msn haha.

I keep getting those World of Warcraft msgs saying: you have sold your account or it's been stolen and we need to verify it, can you please send us the following information: your account name and password, country of origin, your full name and security question, and so on. I don't even have World of Warcraft!

this is what i told you long ago. that such mails can get you actually lot of accounts.
well asking for account and pass is for total retards, but setting up a fake login page and saying that :
please visit the following link and login to verify your account, that would work way better, because you are not really asking them to send password, they have to enter it in "legal" way and then it gets sent to you.
