NOTE - this is old topic and no longer valid, keeping the content just for archiving purposes.

For quite a while now, I have new YouTube channel for gaming, what would you like to see on our channel?
gameplays? unboxing? tutorials? science (complicated things explained, theories ..etc), reviews of games, reviews of hardware, crash / fail compilations from games ..etc
post it all here, let us hear your ideas.

Comment and Suggest, we will listen to the audience.
Right now i am pretty much only one making videos (PinPoint have made few tutorials), but we'll make more stuff.
I just want to hear ideas and suggestions, because without audience there is no point of making any videos, so if you're not registered and can't post, you should register and post your ideas here.

Mainly what I like to continue, is Crash and Fail compilations from all possible games, like GTA IV (gta v in future), NFS Shift 2, GRID .. and any other game that has real enough physics to make it happen.
WarZ and DayZ videos, i just need people to play with, since alone it isn't much fun.
Science and Technology, like things under microscope, optical illusions explained, magic tricks explained ..etc

So anyway, i would like to see what people think, what videos i should continue and make in future.

I would make some gameplays, photoshop tutorials and Unboxing too soon but I dont have a steady hand to hold the camera while Unboxing with one hand. You should get a tripod stand, unboxing videos look much better when you are using both hands and the camera is steady.

What else we can add and also I would like to see myself are videos like
> Top 5 storylines in games
> Best moments in gaming history
> 10 Most shocking moments in games
> Must play games of 2013 (released and upcoming)
These types of videos should get nice amount of views. Commentary is a must in all these videos.

> top 5 storylines in games < noted, good idea. i know what i pick as #1. also far cry 3 will be in it, but not 1.
> best moments in gaming history < good idea, but how do you do that? this is one of the reasons why you get banned all the time, only way of doing that, is to use somebody elses content, which i never do, unless they say its ok.
> 10 most shocking moments < same thing, this would be possible after 1-2 years, but everyone here is a fucking slcaker .. no1 even cares to record shit, so can't do it. it would have to be our inner circle who makes the recordings. they must be unpublished ..etc
> must play games of 2013 < noted, gonna do it i guess, but need to do research since i haven't played much at all. Far Cry 3 is must play, but others .. not so much. Metro Last Light maybe, but that's pretty much all i know.

yes unboxing is good with a stand camera, but wtf with the steady hand LOL, you drink so much that you can't even record?? i know its not perfect, but will be ok, just watch what you recording or use some tape and tape the camera, i have done it few times. put it on top of some stuff and tape it so it won't fall.

That's why I said commentary is a must. Like show on screen: "number 5" and then say game name and release year and talk about it while the best moment from it shows. Lower down the sound of the game to minimum and your commentary to maximum. When you are not speaking, turn the sound of game track up again. Camtasia is very good to do this. Take a look at: you will get the idea.

This is how unboxing should be:
Not with left hand holding the camera and right hand doing the unboxing. When unboxing no matter how steady hand you have, the camera will shake. I have a table like that but no tripod or anything to hold the camera above or on the side.

NO .. what i mean, i do not take somebody elses gameplay and say "best moment". that's what i meant, unless that other person is like you or Magic ..etc who is ok with it.
i don't take some random cool moment and talk about it, nah, not a chance. that is copying somebody's content and you can get fucked for it easily. i did that myself, someone ripped my GTA IV crash videos, i reported and said its my original video. youtube then wants link to original upload, they compare and if even small part is same, then they give you strike.
gameplay is argueable, but youtube DOES allow gameplays, but they DO NOT allow any sort of copying.

and NO to unboxing too, it's too close. camera should be more away from the box, so whole box and activity is on the camera at all times, that is perfect unboxing. i know how it should look like + you have to talk about the good and bads about the box, like some boxes are so sealed that you need to use tools if you want to open it in one piece, some are complicated, like a puzzle and some are nice and easy.

Anyway as about the top 5 storylines in games, i already have the list, i got 3 games installed, 1 on DVD and 1 downloading. i think i release the list here, so people can add their opinions too. I have not yet decided about order, i will list them the way that i remember them, like what was most memorable storyline.

- Far Cry 3
- Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars
- Mass Effect 1 2 3 (think i add it as 1 game, cuz all stories are good)
- Resident Evil 4
- Jedi Academy

maybe Tomb Raider 3 or 4, not sure.

I never said to get other's video and edit from them. That is obviously a bad idea. We'll need to record the gameplay etc. ourself. Doesn't have to be long since we will need more talking. Recording only main short points will be a good idea keeping the entire video around 5 minutes average. 8 minutes max, I don't think people will stay on the video if they see the length of video around 15-20 minutes.

I haven't played
Jedi Academy
Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars

I can't think of 5 right now, it's 5am, but a few I can remember for the most memorable storylines for me would be-

Assassins Creed (2 , Brotherhood & Revelations) - These three has the storyline of Ezio and I loved it! Specially how it goes from humdreds of years in past from 2013 and in the end they connected things to real life 21/12/2012 and released assassins creed 3 at around the same time which had part of it. Assassins creed 3 is good, but the storyline of Ezio is my all time favourite.
Assassins creed 1 follows Altair, Ezio appears in the starting of 2 and ends in Revelations.

Resident Evil 4
Don't need to say anything about it, it's just great.

Fatal Frame series (PS2) and tomb raider anniversary probably.

I don't think i include console games and Tomb Raider Anniversary is same as Tomb Raider 1 (yes the old, old one). it's just a crappy remake with new graphics, i hated it, with all those flashy icons and crap, they fucked it up. original was better, but storyline is same. Tomb Raider games (all of them) have good storyline, but nothing special, there is no twists or surprises. what makes the named ones good, is that if you focus on the storyline, you actually feel what characters feel, like you're angry over someone and just want to kill them ..etc. like in jedi academy where that other guy keeps fucking things up, you just get angry and want to kill him, those are the type of storylines that are worth mentioning.
or some serious surprise/twist, that you did not expect at all.

Assassins creed is a good mention then. You should seriously give it a try even if you don't like games set in past. The story is just "epic".
If you do decide to try the game, begin with assassins creed 2.
