Cheat Engine - how to use pointer scan ?

Does anybody knows how to use pointer scan in cheat engine? Because when i do this i always get 70000 adresses....
I already tried to learn it in youtube but it's always the same.

To Reduce Amount on Pointer scan you must close game and reopen it and rescan to reduce their amount If you own a 2 pc's it will make life easyer in a way to drop out false addresses.

So Scan - play - Scan * Play - Scan / Close game / open game / Scan*

do what MS said, except that after you close the game, do something like run ccleaner or some other tool, close or open some other apps.
rescan
then reboot your pc, first thing open game, rescan.

sometimes you still end up with like 1000 and almost impossible to get them down, in that case you need to test in another computer.
however in lot of cases you still have 100 - 1000 remaining, then just pick one and use it.

depending on a game really, in some games you get it down to 1-10 in no time, in other games its hard to get it below 100 even using 2 computers.
